National Seminar & Call For Papers Study Program BK 2022

& ldquo; cultural intelligence and guidance and counseling practices in the Society 5.0 & RDQUO era; Become the theme at the National Seminar & amp; Call For Papers organized by the Guidance and Counseling Study Program assisted by the Guidance and Counseling Study Program Student Association (HMP BK) on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 08.00 until finished, and this event was opened by the Dean of FKIP namely Dr. Esti Setiawati, M.Pd. Sub theme call for papers there are six (6), namely: BK Multibudaya, BK in the Society Era, Character Education, BK Information Technology, BK Media, and Basic Counseling Skills.

Guidance and Counseling Study Program presents three (3) speakers at the same time, the speakers at the 2022 National Seminar are extraordinary. The first speaker was Prof. Dr. Suwarna Dwijonagoro, M.Pd as Professor of Javanese Language Education Yogyakarta State University, the second speaker, Dr. Heru Mugiarso, M.P.D, Cons as a lecturer in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program S1, S2, S3 and PPK BK Semarang State University, and the third speaker was Dr. (Cand.) Iis Lathifah Nuryanto, M.Pd as a lecturer in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program at PGRI Yogyakarta University. The event was also guided by a very extraordinary moderator, Amir Hidayat, S.Pd as an alumni of BK UPY students in 2013 and BK teachers at SMAN 3 Purwokerto).

The material presented was very good and interesting to discuss. With the participants of the National Seminar, the majority of students are students. The first material was delivered by Prof. Dr. Suwarna Dwijonagoro, M.Pd regarding & ldquo; cultural role in the field of education in the 5.0 & rdquo era; Which crystallization of cultural values ​​is not easily weathered with rain and is exposed to heat. Values ​​tend to be eternal even though science and technology continues to develop. Because the attitude of megalomania humans (likes to prevent new things) old values ​​tend to be ignored. The second material was delivered by Dr. Heru Mugiarso, M.Pd, Cons Regarding & LDQUO; Multicultural Competencies in Cross -Cultural Counseling & RDQUO; The subject of the discussion is multicultural issues in the background of plural society, the basic concepts of cross -cultural counseling and problems, as well as the development of multicultural competencies. Multicultural skills that are relevant according to Sue and Arredondo, there are 2 relevant skills to be developed in BK services in our school, namely: 1. BK Teacher Skills As Multicultural Personal, 2. BK Teacher Skills In delivering Multicultural Competency Development Materials to students through students through students through students Various service formats (classical, group and individual). The method of developing multicultural competencies of students from various existing methods, research results prove that the most effective methods include using & nbsp; experiential learning namely learning through presenting direct experience to students. Techniques in Experiential Learning There are Problem Solving , Personal Development , Work and Community Placement, Activity Based , and Project Work.

The third material was delivered by Iis Lathifah Nuryanto, M.Pd regarding & LDQUO; Digital literacy in guidance and counseling & RDQUO; There are 4 pillars of digital literacy namely digital media, digital media, ethical digital media, and safe digital media. Digital literacy in guidance and counseling services according to Bariyyah & amp; Permatasari (2019) states that if the school counselor does not want to learn online media service skills, their image will get worse, looks technology blind, too rigid and will not develop. Digital literacy can be assumed to be supporting competencies so that school counselors have knowledge and skills in sorting digital sources, to facilitate developing service media to be more relevant to the current digital era. Indeed education is: making individuals from what they are should. Often first, then sharing (wise in using social media and wise in exchanging information).

After the national seminar was completed with call for papers which is a forum for researchers to publish the results of their research. In this national seminar, the results of the study will be published on a national scale and recorded in the ISBN Proceedings, with a total of six (6) presents. The Call For Papers event was guided by Mr. Taufik Agung Pranowo, M.Pd as the Guidance and Counseling Lecturer at PGRI Yogyakarta University. (Journalism HMP BK UPY)
