Vision
The vision of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta is to become a superior undergraduate program in 2043, producing Indonesian Language and Literature Education graduates who are devoted, professional, innovative, have national commitment, and have a global outlook.
Mission
- Developing effective institutional governance, supporting the implementation of community activities to realize the welfare of society, nation, state, and humanity, efficient, democratic, transparent, and accountable to create a healthy, autonomous, and highly competitive organization.
- Organizing learning and developing Indonesian language and literature education to produce Indonesian language and literature education graduates who are devoted, professional, innovative, have national commitment and have a global outlook.
- Optimizing the utilization of resources owned to support the implementation of research activities to develop science and technology in the fields of language, literature, and Indonesian language and literature.
- Optimizing the utilization of resources owned to support the implementation of community service activities to realize the welfare of society, nation, state, and people in the field of Indonesian language and literature education.
- Carrying out the development of the academic community of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Undergraduate Program.
Objective
To produce graduates in the field of Indonesian Language and Literature Education who are
- Possess the insights, skills, and attitudes of an educator who is able to think logically, systematically, critically, and creatively, and is able to express his/her thoughts clearly and straightforwardly.
- Comprehensively master: a. basic education science, basic education science of Indonesian language and literature, b. Indonesian language and literature research methodology and its development
- Have a reliable attitude and ability to carry out their duties as Indonesian language teachers professionally and other duties relevant to their expertise.
- Mastering the creation of Indonesian language and literature teaching materials and being able to teach them to students
- Mastering the Indonesian language and skillfully using it properly and correctly in various communication events
- Mastering Indonesian for written and spoken varieties in official and unofficial situations properly and correctly, and
- Have good insight, understanding, and attitude about students, education, and actual conditions.
