Friday, October 11, 2019, the Faculty of Economics, PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY), changed its name to the Faculty of Business (FB). The change in the name of this faculty began with a faculty senate meeting based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 257/M/KPT/2017 concerning the name of the Study Program at Higher Education.
that afternoon the event began & nbsp; remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Business UPY, Ratna Purnama Sari, S, E., M.Si Yag continued remarks from the Rector of UPY. On this occasion, the Chancellor of the University of PGRI Yogyakarta Dr. Ir. Paiman., M.P appealed to changes in the name of the faculty to be conveyed to all academic community both the scope of the Faculty of Business and also all UPY academic community in general.
the ratification of the change in the name of the new faculty was inaugurated with a joint prayer followed by cutting ribbons and cutting cone by the Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Business UPY. The joint prayer event was aware of the foundation representatives, lecturers both from the Management and Accounting Study Program and also several student representatives.
