in the current era of globalization and to face challenges and opportunities towards the industrial revolution with national and international industrial standard human resources. Yogyakarta PGRI University which carries the spirit is to grow together exponentially to realize UPY’s vision, mission and purpose to become one of the superior campuses at the ASEAN level by continuing to improve the quality and resources in various fields. One of them is with the addition of new study programs, namely industrial engineering after last year it has opened PG PAUD Study Program and PLB Study Program. Whereas industrial engineering will begin to open in the new school year 2019/2020 which has now begun to receive new student registration.
But even then it does not rule out there will be a new faculty or study program in the next few years as conveyed by the Rector of UPY, Dr. Ir. Paiman M.P, that currently there are several study programs that are in the process including medical science, electromedical, biomedical, civil engineering, architects, automotive education, and tourism. With the growing development of the University of PGRI Yogyakarta, in addition to cooperating and working hard from various academic and institutional fields, HR fields, student fields as well as alumni and besides that it is necessary to increase cooperation from various related parties who are competent.
even in the future PGRI University Yogyakarta together with the foundation have a program to establish an automotive vocational school which will later have continuity to continue education or study at UPY. In connection with some of these, Yogyakarta PGRI University has officially signed a collaboration with the Yogyakarta Special Region of Youth and Sports Education Technical Education Agency in the framework of education for the Automotive Technology Program in the Faculty of Educational and Education, Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, and Electromedical Engineering Engineering . The signing of the cooperation MoU on the implementation of the Engineering Education Training Program was held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at the DIY BLPT Office.
It is expected that with this collaboration both from UPY and BLPT can work together, help each other and support each other to continue to try and produce competent human resources and are ready to compete on national and international scale. < /P>
