About the Faculty of Science and Technology
The Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta was formerly known as the Faculty of Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering was established through the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 180/DIKTI/kep/1997 in 1997. The Faculty of Engineering houses 1 study program, namely Informatics Engineering Study Program. Based on the strategic plan, in 2019, Lahr 6 (six) new study programs with 2 (two) health-based study programs, namely Pharmacy and Nutrition Study Programs. The other four study programs are Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Biomedical Engineering, Electro-Medical Engineering Technology. Based on this, the Faculty of Engineering changed to the Faculty of Science and Technology based on SK 157/SK/REKTOR-UPY/IX/2019.
In 2043, the Faculty of Science and Technology will become a faculty that excels in producing graduates who are pious, professional, innovative, nationally committed, have a global outlook in the fields of science and technology and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
