  • Working Deliberation of the Student Representative Council of Family Student University of PGRI Yogyakarta

    Working Deliberation is one of the DPM KM UPY work programs in 2021/2022. This activity was carried out on Monday, November 29, 2021. This work program is basically a communication activity from DPM KM with the Trustees of DPM KM UPY, UPY Alumni Student Agency, and Demisioner DPM KM UPY.

    This activity aims to synergize the steps of each DPM KM work program to match their respective domains, and improve the quality and quantity of cooperation between organizations, and provide information to all students of PGRI University Yogyakarta regarding the activities and activities of each organization at the University of PGRI Yogyakarta.

    This Working Deliberation was attended by all DPM KM UPY administrators, UPY KM DPM Trustees, UPY Alumni Student Alumni Institutions, and DPM KM UPY Demisioner. This activity took place in the Hall of the Ormawa Building at 13.00-17.00 WIB.

    Making DPM KM UPY a competent, humanist and highly detained student legislative institution with KM UPY based on the principle of kinship and mutual cooperation

    Mission:

    1. Creating a harmonious relationship and synergy between students and bureaucracy, students with organizations, organizations with bureaucracy, and between organizations through intensive communication
    2. Supports the positive potential of students in all fields to create students who excel
    3. Overseeing and controlling the Faculty Policy and Student Organization of KM UPY
    4. Developing strategic issues on and off campus through the assessment and selection of the aspirations of KM UPY students
    5. Building an institutional network through the participation of various internal and exteren activities

      Chairman of the DPM KM UPY for the 2021-2022 period, Ahmad Hanif Hidayat expressed his gratitude to all the executive quiters who had realized the success of this Working Conference. He also expressed his hope that for the next period leads the KM DPM for a better direction, and also so that the management can be compact. & ldquo; I really hope that in one dear period I will be able to bring positive things to DPM KM UPY which of course can only be realized if all of us can establish a synergistic cohesiveness and performance between each member “he hoped.

  • Realizing UPY Research Campus and Technology Based Together with Brin

    Located at the Indonesian Nuclear Polytechnic Brin in the Babarsari area of ​​Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta PGRI University officially established cooperation with the National Research and Technology Agency on February 3, 2023, through a Memorandum of Understanding ( Memorandum of Understanding – MoU). The MoU was signed by UPY Deputy Rector III Dr. Septian Aji Permana and Plt. Deputy for Human Resources of Science and Technology Brin Edy Giri Rachman Putra, Ph.D. Also present were the leaders of UPY in the signing ceremony including Dr. Victor Novianto, M.Hum (Head of the International Affairs Office) and Wahyu Sugianto M.Sc. (Chair of the Biotechnology Study Program). In addition, the event was also attended by the Head of LLDIKTI Region V DIY, 24 University Chancellors and 4 High School Principals in Yogyakarta.

    The event was opened by singing the song Indonesia Raya and followed by an explanation from the Secretary of the Deputy Human Resources of Science and Technology Brin regarding the collaboration between Brin and PT Mitra, one of which was the University of PGRI Yogyakarta. The collaboration is aimed at improving the quality of human resources through the activities of the Tri Dharma Higher Education both in terms of education, research, and community service and independence learning Merdeka Campus (MBKM).

    Furthermore, the presentation of policy directions by the Deputy for HR Science and Technology Brin Giri Rachman Putra who explained about the Brin Profile and the programs that have been implemented, one of its program activities degree by Research. Degree by Research or research -based learning program is a program with assignments given by staffing officials to ASN and other HR to improve competence through & NBSP; Formal Research -based, Development, and Assessment of Science and Technology. This program is based on long -term research cooperation between research groups/lab. In Brin with a research group/lab from PT receiver. Until 2022 there have been around 773 students (universities at home & amp; abroad) who participated in this activity.

    Talent Management Director Brin Raden Arthur Ario Lelono explained the scheme of the Brin researcher’s mobility program. Raden Arthur Ario Lelono explained about the cooperation program through MBKM research internships, baristas (Final Project Research Assistance), degree by research , Research Assistant , Post Doctoral , Appreciation of research and innovation talents.

    The signing of the MoU between UPY and Brin is expected to be a cooperation program that will later run and be beneficial for both parties in order to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

  • UPY Research Team Develops Virtual Tour Content Museum Vredeburg

    Head of the Vredeburg Benteng Museum Drs. Suharja submitted a certificate to a number of students of PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY) as an appreciation of the results of the hard work of the development of virtual tour content, at Benteng Vredeburg, Yogyakarta City.

  • UPY Students Achieve Achievements at the National Monologue Contest

    Theater Udayana University Theater has just held a national monologue competition, this event was held on November 26, 2022. This event was attended by student representatives throughout Indonesia.

    Yusuf Ade Firdauz Informatics Study Program in the class of 2022 is a representative of the Yogyakarta PGRI University Student Student has succeeded in making and raising the flag of the Yogyakarta PGRI University as well as a representative of Yogyakarta Province.

    From all participants who registered the competition, only 5 participants were taken in the final round.   • Historical Tourism Activities (History of the Diponegoro Struggle)

    in an atmosphere that is still warm with this hero day. The Culture Office (Kundha Kabudayan) Bantul Regency held a historical visit with the theme of the history of the struggle of Prince Diponegoro. The activity carried out at the Selarong Cave was held on November 25, 2021 which began at 08.00-finished.

    Participant gathering point is in the parking area of ​​the Selarong Goa and followed by Selarong blusukan on foot to the Banjaran Tourism Area. After arriving at the pavilion the participants registered and continued with the opening delivered by the Head of Guwosari and remarks by the Head of Office (Kundha Kabudayan) Bantul Regency.

    After the remarks were completed with the discussion and presentation of the material concerning the history of the Selarong cave and Prince Diponegoro with the resource person, Mr. Indra Fibiona who explained about Guosari: Witness is the biggest war in & nbsp; Java Island because of the large number of victims and losses caused by this war, discussing the role of Prince Diponegoro for Indonesian independence and raising the spirit of heroes of national independence.

    The discussion continued with the next resource person, Mr. Nur Iswantara who explained the general picture of Prince Diponegoro and he explained that Prince Diponegoro was also called a culturalist, meaning not only heroes in war but also cultural heroes. And the event continued with the performance of the work in the form of dances, poetry, reading chronicles and Diponegoro multicutics.

    From the activity of historical visits it can be concluded that it is true that the Diponegoro War did not take place but with this war greatly influenced the history of Indonesia. This historical visit aims to emulate the spirit of character from Prince Diponegoro so that it can be continued to the younger generation.

    Lab Museum. UPY’s history received a visit from SMA N 1 Kretek on November 24, 2022. A total of 140 students took part in a series of events held by the PMB team. Accompanied by Dr. M. Iqbal Biresyada, M.Pd as the Head of UPY History Education and Lab Museum Team. History of Upy, the students seemed enthusiastic about the visit.

    Lab Museum. The history of UPY was born on October 29, 1985 is the initiation of a figure, Mr. Alm. Doddy Suyono. Initially Lab Museum. The history of PGRI is a student laboratory room that produces spectacular historical works. From these spectacular works, there is an initiation to make a museum. The contents are mockups. However, the existing mockup is not an ordinary mockup. These mockups are location mockups in ancient times such as plelet area mockups, Gede City Mockups, Keraton Mockups also exist. At the Lab Museum. UPY’s history there is also an artificial inscription in the form of a rock -shaped stone. According to the story, shellfish is a symbol of life, like history. The past is history, and the present will eventually become history. History will continue to exist and be dynamic.

    All students seemed seriously listening to the explanation of the Lab Museum Educator. UPY History. The museum has become a magnet in itself, getting a place in the hearts of students and the community.
