    Model & Nbsp; Implementation & Nbsp; Yogyakarta Yogyakarta PGRI University Real Lecture & Nbsp; Academic 2017/2018 There are 2 types, namely: Regular Real Work Lectures with the following conditions: carried out in the community (overnight in the community) for one month, participants are students not yet working. For alternative real work lectures, with the following conditions: carried out in social communities, social institutions, orphanages, boarding schools, at least 4 hours per day, carrying out campus service activities for at least 9 hours per week, implementation time for one month, participants are students who are already working or have a family.

  • Upy prepares to be a class class ASEAN

    PGRI University Yogyakarta (UPY) continues to prepare itself to become a class -class ASEAN university in 2022. Various efforts were made to achieve these targets.

    & ldquo; one of the efforts to realize that vision by requiring all lecturers to take S3 because it is very good if 30 percent of our lecturers can win doctors in the next four years, & rdquo; said UPY Rector Dr. Ir Paiman MP interrupted the opening of the 55th Anniversary of UPY on the local campus, Monday (11/13/2017).

    According to Paiman, increasing the quality of human resources (HR) is very important to increase UPY’s competitiveness at the ASEAN level. Competent lecturers will be able to produce quality graduates. Because Higher Education (PT) will be difficult to compete if the HR lecturer still holds a master’s degree (S2).

    Besides HR, UPY also made improvements in campus infrastructure and facilities. Including the development of laboratories, lecture facilities and improving the quality of information technology (IT) campus.

    The campus also seeks to increase cooperation, both PT and Overseas. Call it in a joint research student exchange program, journal publishing and so on.

    & LDQUO; We also try to always encourage students to build achievements and togetherness in supporting UPY as a superior campus. Included in this time we also arrange it to build competitive togetherness at the global level, especially ASEAN, & RDQUO; he said.

    While the Chairperson of the 55th UPY Anniversary Committee, Drs Rosalia Indriyati Saptatininingsih MSi explained that the Dies Natalis was important for DIY. One of them is a marker of the level of progress in working in taking part in the development of the nation, especially in the field of education.

    & LDQUO; aged fifty-five is evidence that UPY has a special attraction and is able to survive in the midst of increasingly fierce competition among state and private universities, & RDQUO; he added.

    UPY Bersiap Jadi Universitas Berkelas ASEAN

    Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta (UPY) terus mempersiapkan diri menjadi universitas berkelas ASEAN pada 2022 mendatang. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk mencapai target tersebut.

    “Salah satu upaya mewujudkan visi itu dengan mewajibkan semua dosen ambil S3 karena sangat bagus jika 30 persen dari dosen kami bisa meraih doktor pada empat tahun ke depan,” papar Rektor UPY Dr Ir Paiman MP disela pembukaan rangkaian Dies Natalis ke-55 UPY di kampus setempat, Senin (13/11/2017).

    Menurut Paiman, peningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) tersebut sangat penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing UPY di tingkat ASEAN. Tenaga dosen yang kompeten akan mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas. Sebab Perguruan Tinggi (PT) akan kesusahan untuk bersaing bila SDM tenaga dosen masih bergelar master (S2).

    Selain SDM, UPY juga melakukan pembenahan dalam sarana prasarana dan fasilitas kampus. Diantaranya pengembangan laboratorium, sarana perkuliahan dan peningkatan kualitas Teknologi Informasi (TI) kampus.

    Kampus tersebut juga berupaya meningkatkan kerjasama, baik PT didalam maupun luar negeri. Sebut saja dalam program pertukaran mahasiswa penelitian bersama, penerbitan jurnal dan sebagainya.

    “Kami juga berupaya selalu mendorong mahasiswa agar membangun prestasi dan kebersamaan dalam mendukung UPY sebagai kampus yang unggul. Termasuk dalam dies kali ini juga kami rangkai guna membangun kebersamaan bersaing di tingkat global, utamanya ASEAN,” tandasnya.

    Sementara Ketua Panitia Dies Natalis UPY ke-55, Drs Rosalia Indriyati Saptatininingsih MSi menjelaskan dies natalis bermakna penting bagi DIY. Salah satunya sebagai penanda tingkat kemajuan dalam berkarya dalam ambil bagian pembangunan bangsa khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan.

    “Usia lima puluh lima ini menjadi bukti UPY mempunyai daya tarik khusus dan mampu bertahan di tengah persaingan yang makin ketat di antara perguruan-perguruan tinggi negeri maupun swasta,” imbuhnya.
