PB PGRI held the National Work Conference of LLL PGRI on March 21-23, 2022. This agenda was held in Yogyakarta and attended by thousands of PGRI management throughout Indonesia, of course by following a strict protocol and selective. Themes of the National Work Conference III PGRI with the theme & LDQUO; Bangkit Gurukaku, Forward My Country, Indonesia Tangguh, Indonesia Grows & RDQUO; which opened on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Yogyakarta PGRI University took part in the success of this event, one of which was the appearance of the UPY student choir who had enlivened the event. Prof. Unifah as the PB PGRI Chairman said, & LDQUO; UPY choir has a characteristic in arrangement of songs this makes upy’s choir different from the other choir. & RDQUO; Prof. Unifah also advised the students who are members of the UPY choir and all UPY students to be proud to be part of the Yogyakarta PGRI University.

The beginning of the establishment of Padus UPY was founded by Drs. Johanes Sabari, M.Pd as Deputy Chancellor III at that time at UPY. He recounted the history of the establishment of this padus, he said he was very concerned because Di Uoy did not have Padus. Then he formed this Padus group in 2006 with full struggle to produce a Padus group that had a good voice. He trained the Padus group himself, so that the Padus group in 2006 succeeded in performing in large forums such as graduation. After 2 years running, precisely in 2008, My Sing Voice has good achievements, until the Chancellor at that time Prof. Dr. Bukhori, M.S, M.Pd felt very amazed by the voices of the children of this Padus group. Until the Chancellor asked Mr. John’s opinion to give the name Padus Upty, and I was sparked by My Sing Voice. Then, My Sing Voice is declared in a large graduation held at the Pacific Resto located on Jl. Magelang in front of TVRI. The name My Sing Voice continues to exist and continues to flap its wings until now. (PEB)

Tuesday (22/03) PGRI University Yogyakarta received a decree from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the Opening Permit for New Study Programs, namely the Sports Science Study Program Bachelor Program ( S1) and Basic Education Study Program Masters Program (S2). The submission of the decree was attended by the Chancellor, Chair of the Foundation, and LLDIKTI Region V Yogyakarta. The event was held at the Yogyakarta PGRI University Auditorium.

SK was handed over by Prof. Drh Aris Junaidi PhD to Dr. Ir Paiman MP (UPY Rector) witnessed by Armansyah Prasakti SH MH (Chairperson of the UPY Pembina Foundation Management).

From LLDIKTI Region V DIY Present Taufiqrahman SE (General Kabag), Sukarsono Windu Kumoro Skom MKom (Coordinator of Facilitating Quality Improvement of PT), Zanuwar Fahruzi ST (Supervisor of Facilitating External Quality Management).

Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) in collaboration with the Bantul General Election Commission (KPU) formed a Student Election Institute under the name of the UPY Student Election Commission (KPUM).

This institution was formed permanently with the task of carrying out the student election. Namely, student presidential election for the university level, student governor for the faculty level and student regent for the study program level (study program).

The formation of the KPUM Student Election Institution begins with education and training (training) which lasts three days & nbsp; Tuesday to Thursday (15-17/3/2022) with the Bantul KPU Commissioner resource person.

UPY Deputy Rector III Dr. Septian Aji Permana said that KPUM is a form of UPY’s commitment to apply democratic values ​​in the campus environment. 40 students are members of the KPUM. They were tasked with carrying out the election of student presidential, student governor and student regent simultaneously, September 2022.

“Through this KPUM, students are expected to be able to learn directly about the implementation of democratic elections,” he said.

Septian said that students who are members of the KPUM Student Institute are ready to assist the Bantul KPU, especially in the Election Education Activities in the 2024 Election Stage.

Bantul KPU Chairperson Didik Joko Nugroho emphasized that the formation of a permanent student election institution by UPY was an innovative breakthrough in democracy in the campus environment.

“There is a strategic role that can be done by the student selection institution, one of which is the driving force of the application of democratic values ​​in the campus environment,” he said.

IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards) is a superior program from Merdeka Learning Merdeka Campus (MBKM) facilitated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology through the Directorate General of Higher Education ( Directorate General of Higher Education) with full funding by the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP).
