Monday (11/15) UPY held an introduction to Campus Life in New Students (PKKMB) at UPY Auditorium online via Zoom and broadcast live on YouTube UpyTV . More than a thousand students participated in the implementation of the PKKMB in their respective homes. Whereas in the UPY Auditorium, it was only attended by the BEM committee, several employees and lecturers as well as structural representatives while continuing to comply with the health protocol.

The opening of the UPY 2021 PKKMB is a series of 3 events namely PKKMB, LKMMTD and Soft Skill which was carried out for 6 days starting from 15-20 November 2021. Along with commemorating Heroes’ Day on November 10, 2021, HMP History of PGRI Yogyakarta University held a flower sowing activity on Thursday 11 Novermber 2021. Flower sowing activities were carried out in the Kusumanegara National Heroes Cemetery Park which is located on Jalan Sga, Annual, Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta City, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This flower sowing activity was attended by representatives of lecturers and students of history education at Yogyakarta PGRI University who were members of the History Education Student Association. This flower sowing activity is a mandatory agenda every year carried out by HMP History to commemorate Heroes’ Day to respect and remember the services of previous heroes.

Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) again held a Bachelor and Postgraduate Graduation Procession at the Center Center of Unit 1, Sonosewu, Yogyakarta, Saturday (10/31/2021). In the process, the graduation ceremony of the academic year of 2021/2022 was held using the method & ldquo; drive thru & rdquo; Just like graduation in the previous periods considering that it was still in the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world including in Indonesia. The graduation implementation was attended by 331 graduates of graduates and broadcast live streaming on UPYTV Youtube.

In his remarks, UPY Rector Dr. Paiman, MP advised all graduates of graduates, that graduation is not the ultimate goal of a learning, on the contrary graduation is the beginning of the learning process in the community. It is hoped that all UPY alumni who work can prioritize the nature of honesty to achieve success and happiness in the present and future, & RDQUO; said Dr. Paiman, MP.

This Drive Thru Model Graduation is quite efficient, especially in the current Pandemic, where the committee has arranged with a strict health protocol and without physical contact, even the car queue has been arranged by the committee in such a way Avoiding a crowd. The series of events took place on Thursday 28 October 2021 which began at 13.00 WIB & Ndash; Completed which took place in the 5th floor studio of the Saintek Building and broadcast via Live Streaming YouTube upyTV and Live Instagram at @hmps_upy.

The activity invited Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Biresyada M.Pd (UPY History Education Study Program) as a speaker or resource. This podcast material discusses the meaning of the youth oath, the fading of the value of nationalism among young people because of the influence of globalization and western culture, discussing the spirit of nationalism among students today because it has been influenced by Western culture.

& ldquo; as the successor of the nation and also the whole community must develop and also teach the culture that exists in Indonesia, especially to young Indonesian people who will become the successor to the nation’s struggle Iqbal.

PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY) again adds to the number of lecturers with a doctorate. The title was just won by Dr. Sujatmiko, M.Hum, Lecturer in FKIP UPY English Language Education Study Program, who has just completed his S3 study from the S3 Linguistics Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Sebelas Maret.

With the passing of Sujatmiko, then of course it adds to the row of the number of UPY lecturers with a doctorate. In order to complete his studies, Sujatmiko is known to have managed to account for the results of his dissertation, through a closed exam on October 18, 2021 which was carried out online/online considering the condition of Pandemi Covid-19.

The title of the dissertation is & ldquo; relay translation of the Javanese Luhur Pitutur Expression in the Book of Javanese & Rdquo Cultural Books; Through his dissertation research, Sujatmiko hopes that the results of his research can make a maximum contribution to the parties concerned.

Sujatmiko in his message, expressing his happiness and gratitude, until then he was able to complete his S3 study. Furthermore, Sujatmiko also expressed his gratitude to the foundations, rectorates, deans and study programs in UPY, for the support and assistance that had been given to him, until then his studies were able to be completed. Yogyakarta PGRI University on Monday, October 18, 2021, visited the target villages in Mbeji Whaw Whatewon Ngawen Village, Gunung Kidul. The visit of the PGRI University of Yogkarta this time was escorted directly by the Chairperson of the Yogyakarta PGRI University Pembina Foundation, Armansyah Prakasakti, SH, SPN, MH and UPY Rector, Dr. Ir. Paiman, MP and Vice Chancellor 3, Dr. Septian Aji Permana, M.Pd.

The purpose of this visit is to directly review the UPY-assisted village which will be projected into a tourist village and cultural village under the auspices of the LPPM chaired by Marti Widyasari, M.Eng. As the Chairperson of LPPM and Bintang Wicaksono, M.Pd as Head of Devotion and Dr. Setyo Eko Atmojo, M.Pd as Head of Research.

According to the Mbeji Village Chief, the potential of Mbeji Village from the tourist side is Watu carrying and on the side of the culture there is Petilasan & nbsp; relics of the Kingdom of Mataram. The hope of when the Ngawen is not only a tourism potential but it is hoped that the regional villages when the Ngawen can become an independent village through its entrepreneur.

Sunday 17 October 2021 Yogyakarta PGRI University has held a dose 2 vaccination for students and the surrounding community. The 2nd vaccination for PGRI Yogyakarta University students was followed by approximately 1000 vaccination participants.

The aim is to hold this vaccination to foster immune power so that all PGRI Yogyakarta PGRI University academics will be ready to carry out lectures offline.

This Dosin 2 vaccine activity was welcomed directly by the Chairman of the UPY YP Trustees, Armansyah Prasakti, SH, SPN, MH and Rector of Yogyakarta PGRI University, Dr. Ir. Paiman MP. Vaccination activities held at UPY Auditori Thanks to the cooperation of Vice Rector 3 UPY for Student Affairs, Cooperation and Alumni, namely Dr. Septian Aji Permana, M.Pd with the Head of Puskesmas II Mrs. Yudi and Mr. Yulis and Bantul Koramil as a vaccine provider.

During the vaccination process the dose of 2 weeks this morning (17/10) all activities went smoothly and in an orderly manner that opened starting at 8.00 WIB and ended at 11.00 WIB. The success of this vaccination for the work of the committee’s relaxed by Anindita Imam Basri, M.M (Head of Student and Alumni Institute) and Juang Kurniawan Syahruzah, M.Pd (Head of Student Division) and the UPY Task Force Team.

Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) and the Bantul Regency Government signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) in the field of community service for management of potential for mutual progress.

The signing of the collaboration was carried out by Regent H Abdul Halim Muslih and UPY Rector Dr. Paiman MPd, at the UPY Auditorium, Ngestiharjo Bantul, Wednesday (10/13).

Paiman in his welcome said, the same cooperation is expected to benefit each other both parties and the community. Both parties will open and work on existing potential and opportunities.

& ldquo; that can be done by the field of research (research), economic consultation and education. For this purpose our HR is very sufficient, & rdquo; katannya.
