Upy Taekwondo Team re -achieved achievements in the Gapensi Cup 1 Regional Championship
Pengprov UTI PRO DIY has held a special Taekwondo regional championship Kyorugi and Kyukpa with the theme & LDQUO; Gapensi & RDQUO Cup; The championship was held on 3-4 July 2021 then at the Baliroom Hotel Merapi Merbabu, Seturan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Gapensi Cup 1 is held so that athletes who have not competed for a long time in the championship event because the Covid-19 Pandemic period can continue to excel and become a driving force for the development of sports, especially taekwondo in DIY.
In this championship the upy taekwondo team has lowered 7 athletes to participate in the match, especially in the category of Kyorugi. Before participating in the championship, all athletes who will take part in the championship have been undergoing a training center (TC) for approximately 1 month to prepare the ability of athletes. The seven athletes from the UKM Taekwondo Team have succeeded in spending the match and succeeded in bringing home 2 gold medals 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals, the following UPY students who won several medals who are members of the Taekwondo Team UKM:
Champion 1 Anggit Dyan Syah Putra won a gold medal
Champion 1 Sandi Nuur Ilma Nabella won a gold medal
2nd place Denis Puspita Dewi won a silver medal
Champion 2 Desiana won a silver medal
Champion 2 Wulfranus Wiranto won a silver medal
3rd place & nbsp; Ebi Evianti won a bronze medal
Champion 3 Safarin won a bronze medal
By gaining achievements at the championship event, hopefully it can increase the enthusiasm of the UPY Taekwondo Team athletes to continue to practice and excel, and hopefully at the Taekwondo Championship event that will come upy Taekwondo Team can return deploy other outstanding athletes in order to make the name of the University of PGRI Yogyakarta.

Announced to students of PGRI Yogyakarta University that in order to improve the competence of students in the English field, the Yogyakarta PGRI University through the Language Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) will hold the English Proficiency Test (EPT) in July 2021 Online . The EPT certificate is a condition Thesis/Awareness Examination and can be included in the Certificate of Companion Diploma (SKPI). The schedule for the implementation of EPT Certification Activities online July 2021 is presented in the following table:
