in commemoration of the 58th Natalies Dies of PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY) made a pilgrimage or visit to the tombs of the founders, former chancellors and former officials on Monday (23-11-2020 ). The activity was divided into two places namely in Wates, Kulon Progo represented by the Rector of UPY (Dr. Ir Paiman M.P), Deputy Chairman of the UPY YP Foundation (Drs. John Sabari MSi), Treasurer of the Foundation (Hari Purnama SE MM) and several representatives Lecturer is also an employee. As for the pilgrimage visits in Gede City and Tamsis, represented by Vice Rector 1 (Ahmad Riyadi M.Kom), Deputy Rector 2 (Saptaningsih Sumarmi M.M), Deputy Rector 3 (M.Fairuzabadi M.Kom) and also several lecturers and employees. < /P>
During the pilgrimage visit the Chancellor, Foundation, Lecturer and Upty Employees held a joint prayer and sowing flowers in several tombs of the founders, former Chancellors and UPY officials. Some of the tombs visited include: Drs. Sjamsuar Mochtar SH at the Tomb of Kuncen, Drs KRT Selahadiningrat (Sentolo), Drs H. Kusnun (Wates), then Prof. Buchory at the Tomb of Nologaten, Doddy Soejono M.A in the tomb of Condong Catur, and Moh. Jumali at the tomb of the hero Kusumabrata.
This activity is carried out routinely every year with the aim of praying for the spirit of predecessors to get the best place in the sight of Allah SWT and remember and respect the services of the founders and predecessors so that their enthusiasm remains burning in the life of the community. Pandemi Covid-19 which still hit Indonesia, especially Yogyakarta, certainly affects academic activities in all university activities including PGRI Yogyakart University. Various activities that had previously been diverted to online (online) using zoom, are now also applied to the introduction of New Student Campus Life (PKKMB) and academic opening in 2020.

Chairperson of the 2020 PKKMB Committee (Dr. M. Iqbal Biresyada M.Pd) invited all UPY new students to make PKKMB 2020 activities a place for friendship with each other. Whereas in his remarks at the same time opening the PKKMB 2020 debriefing event, the Vice Chancellor of LLL (M. Fairuzabadi M.Kom) conveyed the purpose of the PKKMB implementation, which is one of the efforts to accelerate the adaptation and formation of a complete, quality, successful student in study and ready to face the challenges of the period front.

At the PKKMB 2020 core event held for 2 days (6-7 November 2020) students get some material delivered by the resource person. The material includes: Four pillars of the nation and state delivered by Prof. Kaelan MS from UGM, the Merdeka Campus and Campus Policy System delivered by Ahmad Riyadi M.Kom (WR 1 UPY academic field), then the third material is about the entrepreneurship delivered by Yolanda Agata, the Owner Salad Nyoo, then the fourth material on & LDQUO; Stop hoax, radicalism, intolerance and terrorism & rdquo; delivered by Senior Commissioner Drs Anjar Gunadi MM from the Yogyakarta Regional Police. Then on the second day of the PKKMB, Wednesday (7/11), namely the fifth material on national insight or state defense delivered by Lieutenant Rizki Akbar from Kopassus, and the last material on campus ethics and Jogja’s privileges delivered directly by Mr. Baskara Aji asaku. In the framework of the International Museum Day, the General Sudirman Museum collaborated with the Yogyakarta Culture Office held a Cosplay Heroes Cosplay Video Contest 2020 on Monday, October 12, 2020.
The Heroes Cosplay Video Contest activity also went smoothly with the target of participants in all elements of the DIY community, students, students, and local YouTubers. The contestants were very enthusiastic in displaying the various works they made. One of them is the Achievement Student at Yogyakarta PGRI University, Paryadi who participated in the cosplay video competition.
in his work Paryadi carries the theme with the title of the video “Guerrilla” Cosplay Heroes General Sudirman, telling the struggle of General Sudirman with guerrilla warfare and giving a moral impression of how the form of the nation’s struggle, especially young people in continuing the struggle in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
While from the video made by taking the theme of General Sudirman’s struggle, Paryadi can win third place. According to him, & ldquo; youth must play a role in continuing the struggle of the heroes with any work in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0, & RDQUO; Paryadi said.
