the webinar or seminar is different from the others that have been done in the Pandemic period which in fact refers to PAUD children who are not with special needs, but on this occasion BP PAUD & amp; DIY DIY who collaborated with the University of PGRI Yogyakarta held a seminar which refers to how to handle children with special needs, because after all children with special needs must also be given treatment because they have the right to learn the same as others.

while in his explanation, Dr. Joko Yuwono, M.Pd (PLB lecturer at Sebelas Maret University) explained about the importance of a teacher, therapist, parents, family or anyone who lives with autistic children should recognize autistic children in detail. While Rissa Widianti, M.Pd (Kak Rissa) explained about the management of children’s behavior with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Kak Rissa explained that autism could begin to be detected when the child was 2-3 years old whether the child led to the symptoms of autism or not. For each child Autism is different, both from intelligence above average, there are also nomal languages but have obstacles in their social functions and also less and non-verbal intelligence.

Rissa Widianti, M.Pd (ABK therapist, Owner of Madani Child Potential Studio)

is not easy to communicate with children suffering from autism. However, the support of parents and people in the surrounding environment is certainly very meaningful for the child. By being able to understand the habits of children, realize what can and cannot be done and form a strong inner bond so that the child can develop properly.

  • Recognize special food creations in the Pandemic era along with the prose technology of upy agricultural products

The prose of agricultural products technology is quite complex but most of the misinterpretation, THP (agricultural product technology) so far is only a matter of planting and catering, even though it is different. Well, this is what is interesting because in THP has 2 branches of objects namely vegetable food (tubers, vegetables, animal and animal food (animal husbandry, sea water and fresh fisheries), said Suharman, S.Tp., M. SC (UPY Agricultural Product Technology Lecturer)

related to the food crisis or food availability especially in this Pandemic era is very influential and Indonesia is a country that is never separated from imports. If it is classified for basic needs, such as rice in Indonesia, it is still lacking, well this is what is worried that the government is that for example national food stocks are insufficient, this is a policy carried out by the government to implement local food diversification. Moreover, local food in Indonesia is so diverse. Now in this Pandemic era is actually our momentum for how to produce superior products whose bases are based on our local agricultural products besides rice, such as tubers, corn, cassava, etc.

That way this is also good for changing the stigma or mindset of Indonesian people about eating that does not have to use rice, but there are also many local food creations from tubers, corn, cassava , etc. At present there are many areas that make local food creations but it seems that there is no maximum processing, most of which are still limited to boiled and fried. Even though we can still be creative or innovate how from the cassava it is processed into flour to produce a derivative of various types of products such as purple sweet potato brownies that are in great demand besides because of their attractive shape, attractive colors and tastes are also not inferior to rice or flour. Not long ago from THP UPY conducted dedication in the Bantul area where in the location the cassava potential was quite large and together with residents of Sanan Hamlet maximized the processing of cassava.

For food products from cassava, the UPY THP prose made a frozen cassava product called Telasa, a combination of Tela, Cassava and Sanan. Sanan is the name of the hamlet in the Bantul area. & ldquo; so actually we want to display the characteristics that exist in these areas and can be the identity of products from the Sanan area can also be a souvenir product that is characterized by typical and we add spices of choice that makes the uniqueness of this product to make this product different from frozen other cassava. & rdquo; explained Suharman.

Suharman said that in addition to food, the UPY THP prose lecturers also developed a beverage product called Redjo a spice tea dip that has also been produced and developed with groups Upy in Bawuran, Tegalrejo, Bantul. The main ingredient of the spice tea is telang or a kind of flower flower and plus lemongrass then ginger so that from the three compositions it produces a very fitting product and of course a lot of efficacy is healthy for our body.

The upy basic agricultural product technology is actually more production, and also packaging or packaging how we design more interesting packaging for the interest of consumers so not only in terms of taste and quality of the products we Show, but we also learn how to packaging so that it becomes interesting for consumers. So from that we try to produce superior products from local food, & ldquo; explained Suharman.
