  • HMP National Seminar on History Education – DIY Culture Office à ¢ €Š“Yogyakarta towards World Heritage

    HMP History Education in collaboration with the DIY Culture Office held a National Seminar activities held on Monday, November 22, 2021 which took place in the UPY Multimedia Room Building A, the seminar was held starting at 09.00 – finished . This activity was attended by speakers namely Ir. Yuwono Sri Suwito as the Yogyakarta World Heritage Preparation Team, then Jujun Kurniawan, M.A as the DIY and Tri Wahana Cultural Heritage Expert Team, M.Pd as Lecturer in PGRI University Yogyakarta. In addition, this activity was attended by lecturers of history education study programs and also historical education students.

    with the first speaker, Ir. Yuwono Sri Suwito explained about the values ​​of the philosophical axis, he explained that the Yogyakarat Palace was built by Prince Mangkubumi who is a palace spatial architecture. The philosophical spatial plan that initially had a Hinduitis concept was then changed to the philosophy of ILSAM-Javanese. With philosophical layout, in the west: Kali Gajah Wong, Code Winongo, in the east: Mount Merapi, in the north: Yogyakarta Tugu and in the south: Krapyak Stage. In addition, the visual axis of the Yogyakarta Palace Yaknu Mount and Sea and the philosophy axis are Monument, Krapyak Stage and Yogyakarta Palace.

    While the second speaker, Jujun Kurniawan, explained the material about the attributes of world heritage, he explained about the social capital owned by the city of Yogyakarta can be seen from his potential culture. Yogyakarta also has cultural heritage such as Kraton, Pakualaman, Malioboro, Kota Baru, Gede City, Yogyakarta Palace. The city of Yogyakarta has 5 important elements namely Sea Kidul, Krapyak Stage, Mount Merapi, Yogyakarta Palace and Yogyakarta Monument. And it can be said that the attributes of cultural heritage starts from the Krapyak stage, Fort Kraton, North and South Squares, Taman Sari and finally the Kraton Tugu Axis.

    While Tri Wahana as the Lecturer of UPY History Education as well as the third speaker explained the material about Yogyakarta cultural heritage and its influence on education, he explained about the city of Yogyakarta starting from its establishment until now it was a forum for Yogyakarta’s development typical. One unique one produces masters in various fields that make Yogyakarta a center of creativity. The master is Ki Hajar Dewantara, who does not know him. Ki Hajar Dewantara developed an educational pattern that was in the javanese who developed the value of Javanese values. Yogyakarta is now famous as a student city.

    The education system applied is the Among system with the concept of education, namely family, education in the realm of college (schools) and also education in youth or community. He also included culture in his education from an early age such as the concept of watching, niteni and nirokke. This thought from Ki Hajar Dewantara views harmony between teacher and student and can be said harmony between leaders and the people.

  • PGSD Student Alliance and UPY PPKN Holds Malang Care Funding Action Action

    Basically humans cannot live alone and do anything alone, when there are those who are affected by disasters at that moment we fellow humans as social creatures must help each other.

    Solidarity Action Student Association of PGSD Study Programs in collaboration with the PPKN Study Program Student Association of PGRI Yogyakarta University conducted an action to galang funds care about Malang flash floods.   • Upy Holds Opening PKKMB 2021 Online: Tough Regeneration that is active and creative towards UPY APIK

    Monday (11/15) UPY held an introduction to Campus Life in New Students (PKKMB) at UPY Auditorium online via Zoom and broadcast live on YouTube UpyTV . More than a thousand students participated in the implementation of the PKKMB in their respective homes.   • HMP History Education UPY Holds Flower Flowers Remembering Heroes’ Services

    Along with commemorating Heroes’ Day on November 10, 2021, HMP History of PGRI Yogyakarta University held a flower sowing activity on Thursday 11 Novermber 2021. Flower sowing activities were carried out in the Kusumanegara National Heroes Cemetery Park which is located on Jalan Sga, Annual, Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta City, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This flower sowing activity was attended by representatives of lecturers and students of history education at Yogyakarta PGRI University who were members of the History Education Student Association. This flower sowing activity is a mandatory agenda every year carried out by HMP History to commemorate Heroes’ Day to respect and remember the services of previous heroes.

    Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) again held a Bachelor and Postgraduate Graduation Procession at the Center Center of Unit 1, Sonosewu, Yogyakarta, Saturday (10/31/2021). In the process, the graduation ceremony of the academic year of 2021/2022 was held using the method & ldquo; drive thru & rdquo; Just like graduation in the previous periods considering that it was still in the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world including in Indonesia.     PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY) again adds to the number of lecturers with a doctorate. The title was just won by Dr. Sujatmiko, M.Hum, Lecturer in FKIP UPY English Language Education Study Program, who has just completed his S3 study from the S3 Linguistics Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Sebelas Maret.

    With the passing of Sujatmiko, then of course it adds to the row of the number of UPY lecturers with a doctorate.   • Upy Holds Vaccination 2 Dosage for Students and the Surrounding Community

    Sunday 17 October 2021 Yogyakarta PGRI University has held a dose 2 vaccination for students and the surrounding community. The 2nd vaccination for PGRI Yogyakarta University students was followed by approximately 1000 vaccination participants.

    The aim is to hold this vaccination to foster immune power so that all PGRI Yogyakarta PGRI University academics will be ready to carry out lectures offline.

    This Dosin 2 vaccine activity was welcomed directly by the Chairman of the UPY YP Trustees, Armansyah Prasakti, SH, SPN, MH and Rector of Yogyakarta PGRI University, Dr. Ir. Paiman MP.   • UPY and Bantul Regency Government Signs MoU Community Service

    Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) and the Bantul Regency Government signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) in the field of community service for management of potential for mutual progress.

    The signing of the collaboration was carried out by Regent H Abdul Halim Muslih and UPY Rector Dr. Paiman MPd, at the UPY Auditorium, Ngestiharjo Bantul, Wednesday (10/13).

    Paiman in his welcome said, the same cooperation is expected to benefit each other both parties and the community. Both parties will open and work on existing potential and opportunities.
