  • 22 UPY students get a scholarship from BRI

    BRI Bantul provides scholarship assistance to 22 students of PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY). The scholarship worth Rp.110 million is intended for outstanding students but underprivileged. Of these 22 students, 2 of them are people with disabilities.

    BRI Branch Manager (Pinca) Bantul, Tri Ichsan Nur, interrupted the 2019 BRI Indonesia Smart Scholarship on the UPY campus, Monday (3/2), said that in total BRI gave scholarships to 2,000 students throughout Indonesia. This scholarship was handed over to 19 Regional Offices including Bantul. In addition to scholarships for poor students, scholarships are given to disabled students.

    & ldquo; this is a sustainable program, hopefully every year BRI is able to contribute to the world of education, & rdquo; Urai Ichsan.

  • LLDIKTI Region V rewards Functional Position Decree to 84 Lecturers

In early 2020 Region V Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) as an institution that provides public services & LDQUO; 84 SK Functional Position. This is carried out in order to improve the quality and competencies of lecturers as well as efforts to optimize the quality assurance of higher education, especially education in private universities in the LLDIKTI environment of Yogyakarta. The method used is an evaluation of the Credit Score Assessment (PAK) by the Expert Team as an assessor of the scientific work to the process of issuing a Decree by the LLDIKTI team.

    Submission of the Functional Position Decree for the Period I was held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the LLDIKTI Main Court Room V. 84 The decree was submitted directly by the Head of the Institution, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.com., Akt., Accompanied by Dra. Suci Mumpuni, M.Sc., as the Head of the General Section of the Region V.

    In his speech, Suci reported that the submission of the decree in this period amounted to 84 decree consisting of 2 head lectors 550 credit scores, 2 head lectors 400 credit scores, 13 SK Lector 300 Credit scores , 21 SK Lector 200 Credit scores and 46 others are SK Assistant Expert 150 Credit scores which are initial positions. In the Decree, LLDIKTI Region V invited 84 lecturers receiving the decree, but the number of lecturers who attended was 80 lecturers, while 4 lecturers were unable to attend. For lecturers who cannot attend the event, taking decree can be represented by showing a letter from a college or can be included in the submission of the next period’s decree. & ldquo; ladies and gentlemen after receiving a decree, both academic office decree and promotion decree in order to report to the leadership of PT so that the data can be left to the Dikti Forlap.   • UPY 34 KKN develops local potential and builds a powerful and independent community

    This year’s KKN is the 34th PGRI University of Yogyakarta KKN and took the theme & LDQUO; Developing local potential to build a powerful and independent community & RDQO; . The Yogyakarta PGRI University PGRI KKN forging activity was held on January 20, 2020 in each village by holding a jumping ceremony.

    This jumping activity begins with a ceremony in the village, & nbsp; Greetings from the sub -district head, UPY Rectorate and Head of LPPM. UPY KKN students were welcomed by the village community. The village community hopes that UPY KKN students can empower well -occupied hamlets.

    UPY KKN in 2020 was held from January 20 to February 24, 2020, followed by 1182 students from 4 faculties (FKIP, Agriculture, Science N Tek, Business). Regular KKN will be carried out in 4 sub -districts namely, Ngluwar, Lendah, Dukun, and Kalibawang Districts. Whereas alternative KKN was carried out in the villages of Tlogoadi, Tridadi and Sidoarum. Students participating in KKN will be accompanied by a field supervisor in each village.

    KKN UPY Force XXXIV in 2020 has a big mission to empower the potential of each KKN location to realize independence in all fields. With independence it is expected that the community can be empowered so that it can improve welfare.

  • UPY KKN 34: Developing local potential to build a powerful and independent community

    Yogyakarta PGRI University held a debriefing for KKN Class 34 of 2020 before students participating in KKN went directly to the community.   • UPY won a medal at the International Pencak Silat Championship in Bali

    UPY UKM Pencak Silat Contingent participated in competing in the 1st Bali International Championship Championship Lila Bhuana, Denpasar, Bali. And followed by many contingents of martial arts from Indonesia and from various countries.

    In the championship UKM Pencak Silat UPY managed to bring some gold, silver and bronze medals. Some of the medals achieved by the UPY UKM Pencak Silat Contingent in the International Championship of Pencak Silat Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali Championship 1 2020, namely:

For 5 days it was held at the Surakarta IAIN campus as the host and was followed by all delegates of PBSI Student Association throughout Indonesia with details of 34 universities and 90 student delegates including 3 students from HMP PBSI University of PGRI Yogyakarta. Imabsii Semarak activities are routine activities every 2 years aimed at fostering unity, harmony, and work of Indonesian Language and Literature students in Indonesia. In this year’s lively activities this year carries the theme & LDQUO; Revitalization of Indonesian Language and Literature Values ​​in the Society 5.0 & RDQUO era;.
