Upy Talkshow or Sansned (casual sedjenak) is held at the UPY campus, the new building of the Faculty of Science and Technology 5 every Friday starting at 14.00 WIB and aired live on Instagram @upyofficial and UPY Official Youtube.

on Friday (8/05) then upy talkshow is present in episode 2 by discussing the theme & ldquo; students want to be what? & rdquo; Also attended by Mr. Danuri M.Pd as Deputy Dean 3 of FKIP UPY for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation which was the guest speaker this time and was guided by Host Aditya Wahana M.Kom.

In the talkshow, Mr. Danuri had the opportunity to explain one of them about the field of cooperation. According to him & ldquo; every campus, a country or whatever its nature is social and impossible to stand alone, meaning that every institution, campus, agency and whatever type must certainly work with other parties to develop. & RDQUO; Danuri said. One example is currently in UPY, especially in FKIP there is a Seateacher program. Seateacher is a learning practice but its implementation is not in Indonesia but abroad, especially in Southeast Asia, among others in Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Myanmar. & Rdquo; Danuri explained. So we send students to the country then students from the country are sent to Indonesia, then for practice students will be in schools to teach according to their field of study, of course there are special requirements, namely schools must be international because it will affect how teachers and students master Foreign language. & Rdquo; he continued.

Danuri also explains what students are. According to him, students must become agents of change, one of which is the mindset, then the feeling of how empathize, how to socialize in their lives and so on. So that’s the difference between students and students, namely in mind and heart patterns, besides that students are also given the freedom to learn not only in class but can also be intra or extra. That is why in UPY holds many activities both intra and extra so students can destroy with outsiders and not only on campus so students can further develop themselves. & RDQUO; He explained.

Danuri explained, & rdquo; first the most important student can be an agent of change from his mindset and feelings, changes to himself for the community and social, especially for the nation and country such as the concern of how this time like this Covid period, that is & ldquo; humanism & rdquo;. Then we must have a global sense but the local product is & ldquo; Glocal & RDQUO;, and finally we as students or who have passed must have a soul & LDQUO; Entrepreneur & RDQUO; The soul of an entrepreneur, so as long as we have an entrepreneur soul we can still survive and will always survive. In the midst of the Corona virus pandemic, Indonesian people must limit themselves in social activities (social distribution). In addition to preventing the spread of the Corona virus, the government appealed to overseas both working and studying not to return to their hometown. These two things cause the economic situation to weaken moreover the workers whose daily income. The Special Region of Yogyakarta, which in fact has many students, was also affected. Many overseas students are still stuck in their homes / boarding houses and are difficult to get out.

In the middle of this plague, KM FKIP UPY took a solidarity action by distributing groceries for free to FKIP UPY students in need. This division prioritizes overseas students who are still stuck in their boarding houses and have not been able to return to their hometown. The food distributed in the form of 2 kg of rice, 4 eggs, 4 packs of instant noodles and cooking oil. A number of 70 food packages were distributed to FKIP UPY students.

“in addition to helping fellow students who need (overseas and so on) this is also a symbolism of resistance and student struggle as a social and solid individual towards the current situation that Indonesia faces together” Cetus Mochamad Sihabudin , Governor of BEM FKIP UPY.

This shows that all students together have good intentions by upholding the principle of humanity and helping each other in the present situation. The activity went smoothly and orderly and received support from the Dean of FKIP who contributed to attending and assisting all the activities available.

Sunday (8/3) Yogyakarta PGRI University conducted ESQ training for students, especially class of 2019. In collaboration with ESQ Training Ary Ginanjar, the activity was carried out at the UPY Auditorium for 2 days on the 8th March 9, 2020. ESQ training was divided into 3 batch, namely batch I was held on March 8-9, 2020, Batch II was held on March 21-22 and Batch III was held on April 5-6, 2020.

As for ESQ Training Batch I participants followed by students from Informatics Study Program , PLB, PBI, PBSI, BK, Agrotechnology, Mathematics Education and PVTO. The opening of the activity was attended by the Head of Study Program from each study program and also the Dean of the Faculty and was attended and opened directly & NBSP; by Deputy Rector III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, M. Fairuzabadi, M.Kom.

The Acceleration Team of the International Journal (AJIB) together with the LPPM UPY publication center held a Workshop & LDQUO; Work Anywhere with Mendeley at Friday & RSQUO; at, February 28, 2020. Add insight and increase the technical quality of writing scientific articles for international journals for lecturers in UPY. This activity was attended by lecturers from various undergraduate programs in UPY.

The activity began with the registration of participants starting at 07.30 – 08.00, then the opening of the activity which included the activity report by the Ajib Team Leader, Marti Widya Sari, S.T., M.Eng and continued with remarks By the Chancellor of UPY, Mr. Dr. Ir. Paiman, M.P. UPY Chancellor said that he strongly supports every program carried out by the Ajib team to boost the number of UPY publications, especially the publication of international journals. He hopes that UPY lecturers can produce publications in an international journal reputable, which will be useful for the lecturer concerned and also for the institution, for lecturers can be used for promotion requirements while for institutions can help increase UPY ratings.

In this activity, the resource person delivered material related to the technique of writing situation and bibliography using the Mendeley application.
