visiting lecturer especially discussing issues that develop and exchange information in the world of education after Pandemi Covid 19 turned out to be an interesting and full of inspiration. The activity that became one of the forms of the implementation of the MoU that had been carried out by the University of PGRI Yogyakarta (UPY) together with the International Buddhist Education Center (IBEC) Myanmar was assembled on November 17, 2022 in the form of visiting lecturers attended by lecturers and students of Postgraduate IPS and post-graduate education Basic Education Bachelor. This activity received full support from the Dean of FKIP which was attended by Dr. Esti Setiawati, MPd, Wadek 3 Eko Perianto, MPd. and Head of the Office of Cooperation and International Affairs Dr. Victor Novianto M.Hum. This activity was also attended by the Head of S2 IPS Education Dr. Gunawan Sridiyatmiko and Head of S2 Basic Education Dr. Ahmad Agung Yuwono.
Academic experience and strategic issues are discussed casually in the material with the theme “Post-Pandemic Education (Study Case Myanmar Education)” by Dr. Aung Than Oo from IBEC Myanmar. Both lecturers and students from the Social Sciences and S2 Education Study Program, Basic Education, are very enthusiastic about asking and comparing various activities and issues related to education in Myanmar or Indonesia.
The academic experience gained feels increasing with different perspectives because based on the geographical and cultural differences that exist, making this visiting lecturer program feels short. The transfer of knowledge that occurs has enriching insight and strengthens the desire to always develop the academic community present. It is hoped that programs like this in the future can be carried out continuously by involving lecturers from tertiary institutions who are & nbsp; different. Thus it can have a significant impact on improving the quality of study programs and can support the realization of a neat PGRI University.
