  • 22 UPY students get a scholarship from BRI

    BRI Bantul provides scholarship assistance to 22 students of PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY). The scholarship worth Rp.110 million is intended for outstanding students but underprivileged. Of these 22 students, 2 of them are people with disabilities.

    BRI Branch Manager (Pinca) Bantul, Tri Ichsan Nur, interrupted the 2019 BRI Indonesia Smart Scholarship on the UPY campus, Monday (3/2), said that in total BRI gave scholarships to 2,000 students throughout Indonesia. This scholarship was handed over to 19 Regional Offices including Bantul. In addition to scholarships for poor students, scholarships are given to disabled students.

    & ldquo; this is a sustainable program, hopefully every year BRI is able to contribute to the world of education, & rdquo; Urai Ichsan.

    While UPY Rector, Dr.Paiman MP, hopes that cooperation with BRI will continue for the progress of students. & ldquo; will be a special attraction for universities if they have a lot of scholarship access, & rdquo, he stressed.

    Chairman of the UPY YP Foundation, Armansyah Prasakti, added that in the 2020/2021 school year, UPY targeted 3,000 new students. Scholarship Program is an attraction and maximum supporting factor of university promotion.

  • LLDIKTI Region V rewards Functional Position Decree to 84 Lecturers

    & ldquo; a good start will determine the success & rdquo;. Thus the appropriate theme for ceremony submission of the decree of this period. In early 2020 Region V Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) as an institution that provides public services & LDQUO; 84 SK Functional Position. This is carried out in order to improve the quality and competencies of lecturers as well as efforts to optimize the quality assurance of higher education, especially education in private universities in the LLDIKTI environment of Yogyakarta. The method used is an evaluation of the Credit Score Assessment (PAK) by the Expert Team as an assessor of the scientific work to the process of issuing a Decree by the LLDIKTI team.

    Submission of the Functional Position Decree for the Period I was held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the LLDIKTI Main Court Room V. 84 The decree was submitted directly by the Head of the Institution, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.com., Akt., Accompanied by Dra. Suci Mumpuni, M.Sc., as the Head of the General Section of the Region V.

    In his speech, Suci reported that the submission of the decree in this period amounted to 84 decree consisting of 2 head lectors 550 credit scores, 2 head lectors 400 credit scores, 13 SK Lector 300 Credit scores , 21 SK Lector 200 Credit scores and 46 others are SK Assistant Expert 150 Credit scores which are initial positions. In the Decree, LLDIKTI Region V invited 84 lecturers receiving the decree, but the number of lecturers who attended was 80 lecturers, while 4 lecturers were unable to attend. For lecturers who cannot attend the event, taking decree can be represented by showing a letter from a college or can be included in the submission of the next period’s decree. & ldquo; ladies and gentlemen after receiving a decree, both academic office decree and promotion decree in order to report to the leadership of PT so that the data can be left to the Dikti Forlap. Lecturer data update by uploading scan original SK & RDQUO;, Suci added at the end of the report. This is done to prepare for the selection of lecturer certification in 2020, especially for lecturers who are still in the initial ranking, both expert assistant 150 credit scores for the last education of S2 and 200 credit scores for the last S3 education.

    In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.com., AKT as the Head of LLDIKTI Region V said that the submission of this period was the result of the session and evaluation of the PAK in October 2019. The delivery of the decree was the first step for lecturers to explore deeper creaifitas. & ldquo; do not feel comfortable with the predicate expert & rdquo;, said Prof. Didi said.

    This means that the lecturer is expected not to stop at the initial position, namely the expert assistant, precisely with the initial predicate it is hoped that the lecturer is more active in working to carry out the Tridharma of Higher Education.   • UPY 34 KKN develops local potential and builds a powerful and independent community

    This year’s KKN is the 34th PGRI University of Yogyakarta KKN and took the theme & LDQUO; Developing local potential to build a powerful and independent community & RDQO; . The Yogyakarta PGRI University PGRI KKN forging activity was held on January 20, 2020 in each village by holding a jumping ceremony.

    This jumping activity begins with a ceremony in the village, & nbsp; Greetings from the sub -district head, UPY Rectorate and Head of LPPM. UPY KKN students were welcomed by the village community. The village community hopes that UPY KKN students can empower well -occupied hamlets.

    UPY KKN in 2020 was held from January 20 to February 24, 2020, followed by 1182 students from 4 faculties (FKIP, Agriculture, Science N Tek, Business). Regular KKN will be carried out in 4 sub -districts namely, Ngluwar, Lendah, Dukun, and Kalibawang Districts. Whereas alternative KKN was carried out in the villages of Tlogoadi, Tridadi and Sidoarum. Students participating in KKN will be accompanied by a field supervisor in each village.

    KKN UPY Force XXXIV in 2020 has a big mission to empower the potential of each KKN location to realize independence in all fields. With independence it is expected that the community can be empowered so that it can improve welfare.

  • UPY KKN 34: Developing local potential to build a powerful and independent community

    Yogyakarta PGRI University held a debriefing for KKN Class 34 of 2020 before students participating in KKN went directly to the community. The debriefing was held at the Auditorium for 3 days on January 13-15, 2020, the first 2 days for regular KKN and 1 day for students who took alternative KKN. & Nbsp; University of PGRI Yogyakarta Dr. & Nbsp; Ir . & Nbsp; Paiman , M.P. 1189 KKN students, for regular KKN will be deployed in 4 sub -districts namely shaman, Kalibawang, Lendah and Ngluwar. Whereas alternative KKN is carried out in Tridadi, Tlogoadi and Sidoarum Villages.

    This briefing was opened by the Rector of PGRI University Yogyakarta Dr. & Nbsp; Ir . & Nbsp; Paiman , M.P. at the Auditorium of PGRI University Yogyakarta on January 13, 2020 and was attended by 76 students consisting of 7 groups.

    The theme of KKN PGRI Yogyakarta University of 34th & LDQUO; Developing local potential to build a powerful and independent community & RDQUO; The purpose of the provision of KKN is to provide insight, knowledge, skills, and techniques to carry out certain activities needed in the implementation of the entire series of KKN activities ranging from observations and planning to evaluation of the results of report making, so that students are ready in terms of preparation for real work lectures.     In addition to the debriefing material from the Community Service Committee or Field Supervisor, the provision of geographical location, potential, profession, etc. is also delivered directly by Panewu and Camat from various regions where the KKN location is carried out.

    KKN is a form of community service, for students, KKN seeks to develop and practice their competencies during lectures in the community, KKN for the community is trying to encourage the development of community independence to utilize the resources they have in The order to improve the welfare of the community and solve the problems that arise with their own provisions and expertise. The KKN program must be designed carefully with a matrix, in the form of small group and large group work programs.
