Monday (22/7) Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, PGRI Yogyakarta University, held a National Seminar with the theme & LDQUO; The Role of IT-Based Learning Media and Teaching Materials Electronics in improving the culture of digital literacy in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 & RDQUO; The event was held at the Yogyakarta PGRI University Auditorium. The opening of the seminar was opened by Deputy Dean 3 of FKIP Student Affairs, Danuri, M.Pd. And followed by remarks by Primasari Wahyuni, M.Pd. As UPY PBSI Head of Study Program and was attended by all UPY PBSI lecturers. The event was not only attended by UPY students, but also opened to the public. While the speakers at the seminar were Dr. Susetyo, M.Pd. Lecturer from Bengkulu University, Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, S.S., M.Hum. Lecturers from Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta and Yanuar Bagas Arwansyah, M.Pd. From PGRI University Yogyakarta.

dr. Susetyo, explained about learning innovations in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. Susetyo said & LDQUO; The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is marked by the development of the internet and digital technology as well as the ease of super computers and artificial intelligence. & Nbsp; The Development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 that occurred in the world today is very influential on the development of education, including education in Indonesia. For this reason, learning both in schools and tertiary institutions is required to change including changes in curriculum, teacher and lecturer competencies, learning models or methods, media and learning materials, as well as learning facilities, & rdquo; he said.
while Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, explained the role of IT -based learning media and electronic teaching materials in the digital age. There are 4 digital literacy targets in the millennial era, namely:
- Digital Literacy Movement in the Family
- Digital Literacy Movement in School
- Digital Literacy Movement on Campus
- Digital Literacy Movement in Society
& ldquo; we must have 5 characters preferred to produce Indonesian golden generation, namely nationalism, integrity, independence, mutual cooperation, religious, & rdquo; Rohmadi said.
while for improving literacy culture in the digital age, & ldquo; literacy is the ability of individuals to use all the potential and skills possessed in their lives. Types of literacy are language litiration, numeration literacy, science literacy, digital literacy, financial literacy, and cultural literacy and citizenship. The purpose of literacy is to create individuals who are able to apply the expertise they have in life, & rdquo, said Yanuar.
Industrial Revolution 4.0 is very influential in the scope of education, educators are expected to be active, innovative, competent, and can understand the characteristics of the Milineal generation. Do not be used by technology but use and master the era of technology at this time.

PGRI YOGYAKARTA UNIVERSITY RECEIVE 2 SK Study Program
Friday (7/19), Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) received a Decree (SK) for the Opening Permit for 2 New Study Programs namely Nutrition Study Program and Electromedical Engineering Technology Study Program Higher Education at the Office of the Yogyakarta Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI). The decree was handed over by the Head of LLDIKTI Region V Yogyakarta, Prof. Didi Achjari SE MCOM AK CA to Armansyah SH MH (Chairperson of the UPY Pembina Foundation), then handed over to the Rector of UPY, Dr.Ir. Paiman M.P.
Previously UPY had also received a new study program decree from Kemenristekdikti, namely Biomedical Engineering, Vocational Education Automotive Engineering, Agricultural Product Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering. & LDQUO; UPY already has 8 new study programs and has received new students, & LDQUO; Paiman said. Paiman emphasized that the existence of 8 new study programs had the consequences of UPY to work hard to realize the new study program to find its existence in quality and quantity. & LDQUO; UPY’s new study program to meet the needs and demands of the times, of course new study program graduates will be absorbed in the world of work, & rdquo; he said.
while Armansyah Prasakti revealed, & ldquo; the opening of a new study program to show the community & nbsp; That UPY not only graduated educational staff, but also produced or graduated pure science, technology science. PGRI in general, especially PGRI Yogyakarta has been known to produce teachers. It is time for UPY to develop knowledge besides teacher training, & rdquo, he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Didi Achjari when the Decree was reminded, & LDQUO; UPY must be able to maintain quality. Nutrition study program as well as electromedical engineering technology graduates are still very much needed. This is an opportunity that UPY immediately captured, & RDQUO; he said. Specifically for nutrition study programs & nbsp; Also still very much needed, as evidenced by the still cases of malnutrition. & ldquo; that means nutritionists are still very necessary, especially if Indonesia will get a demographic bonus. Of course the hope is to get quality human resources, not malnutrition, & ldquo; he continued.
On that occasion, Prof. Didi Achjari reminded, Homework (PR) for Private Higher Education (PTS) in Yogyakarta that opens a new study program must be able to maintain the existence and reputation of the city of Yogyakarta as a city Education. & ldquo; once again, the quality of graduates must be maintained correctly, & rdquo; he said.

Inauguration with Upty Ormawa for the 2019/2020 period
Tuesday (07/23) Student Organization of Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) held a joint inauguration at the Auditorium of the University of PGRI Yogyakarta. Ormawa who followed the inauguration included HMP, BEM Faculty, & nbsp; & nbsp; UKM, BEM KM, and DPM KM. The event was opened by the Chancellor of the University of PGRI Yogyakarta Ir. Paiman., M.P at around 08.00 WIB and closed with a mandate delivered by the Vice Chancellor for Alumni, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, namely Muhammad Fairuzabadi, M.Kom. This event lasted about 2 hours, with the procession of taking an oath which was divided into 5 partitions namely HMP Oath Taking, then BEM Faculty, UKM, BEM KM, and for the last DPM KM.

Taking the oath of HMP and BEM Faculty is guided by Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Biresyada, M.Pd., and for UKM led by Sigit Handoko, SH., MH., Then for BEM KM and DPM KM is guided by Muhammad Fairuzabadi, M.Kom., The inauguration procession was carried out after the handover Ormawa for the 2018/2019 period to the Chairperson of the 2019/2020 period, then the inauguration procession ended with the delivery of the Stepping of the General Chairperson of the Menwa UKM for the 2018/2019 period to the Trustees who were then given to the General Chairperson of the Menwa UKM for the 2019/2020 period. The event was attended by all UPY Ormawa Management and all UPY Ormawa Trustees Lecturers run smoothly.

Traces of multicultural life in Majapahit
Friday (7/19) students of the Yogyakarta PGRI University History Study Program held a local seminar with the theme “Tracing the Traces of Multicultural Life in Majapahit”. This local seminar became the final project worked on by all 2016 history education students as one of the assignments they took.
This local seminar took place at the Yogyakarta PGRI University Auditorium which was attended by Dr. Siswanta, m. PD as the Chairperson of the History Education Study Program, Dr. Muh Iqbaal Biresyada, M.Pd as a supervisor and lecturer and staff of the Yogyakarta PGRI History Education Study Program.

The seminar which was chaired by Irwan Riyadi carried the theme “Tracing the Footsteps of Multicultural Life in Majapahit”. Where this theme is the result of observations in the activities carried out by all 2016 class students in the History Field Lecture (KLS) conducted on the Trowulan website in April. The observations were then described in a local seminar which was divided into 4 parts, namely regarding the brief history of the Majapahit Kingdom by Fuad Muammad Hasan, a study of the lives of ancient people by Ardhin Dwi Setyawan, a study of sites that could be found in Trowulan by Sinta and studies Regarding the lives of today’s people around the Trowulan-Mojokerto area by Mita Adelia Rahmawati.
This seminar is expected to be a source of insight for all participants about the state of the Majapahit kingdom in the past, and its correlation with today’s society. In addition, this activity is also expected to be a media sharing of students’ knowledge after studying the material of the Majapahit kingdom from intra -campus sources, both library books and upy history museorium collections, as well as the results of the field study that had previously been implemented.
