BEM Faculty of Agriculture, PGRI Yogyakarta University, attended the National Seminar and National Working Seminar & NBSP; (Mukernas) XII Indonesian Agricultural Student Senate Association (ISMPI) in the Cut Mutia Hall of Malikussaleh University (Unimal) North Aceh Regency on 6-11 August 2018.

BEM Secretary of the Faculty of Agriculture, PGRI Yogyakarta University, said their participation participated in the event to further introduce UPY to all of Indonesia, especially the Faculty of Agriculture UPY. The XII ISMPI Mukernas event was the first at the Serambi Mecca Bumi which was attended by more than 30 Faculty of Agriculture throughout Indonesia, also attended by agricultural leaders and actors around North Aceh Regency, Lhokseumawe, as well as all campus organizations in Scope of Malikussaleh University.

This event was held for 5 days, starting with a National Seminar on August 6, 2018 and the event was closed with a visit to the tomb of Sultan Malikussaleh and visiting Tourist Attractions & LDquo; Taman Jeulikat & RDQO; which is around Lhokseumawe, North Aceh. This activity aims to introduce the ins and outs of the entry of Islam in the archipelago and gain an understanding of Malikussaleh to all delegations present in Indonesia representing the campus. After listening to the history of the Kingdom of Samudera Pasai, students were directed to visit the Samudera Pasai Islamic Museum in the west of the king’s grave.

Go Green is a social service activity to the environment with the preservation of nature of various kinds of obstacles caused by humans. This time Go Green took a location at Baros Beach, Kretek, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Coastal areas are areas that are very vulnerable to abrasion, therefore prevention as well as coastal areas. The action taken by all participants and the committee is to plant a mangrove tree which is a coastal crop preventing abrasion.

Go Green activities have been carried out on Wednesday, November 10, 2018. The committee responsible for this event is BEM FP which is a representative of the 3rd ISMPI Region to implement it. The organizations that work together are Sosmas DIY and the person in charge is UPY, USD, Unriyo and Aptik Organizations. So in general the Go Green implementing committee is Socmas DIY (UPY person in charge, USD, Unriyo), APTA, Region 3 (Responsible BEM-FP UPY).

This event was carried out quite well with the number of participants 150. Implementation time from 7 am to 3 pm.

HMP Agrotechnology in collaboration with BEM Faculty of Agriculture at the University of PGRI Yogyakarta held an Elementary Student Management Skills Training (LKMM-TD) on October 20-21, 2018 at Dola Ndeso Boro, Banjar Asri, Kalibawang, Kulonprogo, DIY.

The activity was opened by the President of the Yogyakarta PGRI University Student, Mukalil Akbar. At 15.00 WIB. In his remarks, the student president conveyed some important benefits in the participation of students in this MFI activity, including training the spirit of leadership, forming karaker, developing creativity in organizing and providing young people. This TD LKMM activity was attended by 44 students consisting of semester I students. The 2018 LKMM-TD activities were facilitated by students who had experience in the field of organization. Not only delivery with the lecture method, this activity is also packaged in an interesting way by conducting various discussions and simulations that are in accordance with the topics given by each facilitator.

On the first day, Saturday, October 20, 2018, several facilitators were presented to fill in the material delivered to LKMM-TD participants including the history of the student movement and the trial technique of the Facilitator by Mukalil Akbar, one of the simulations played by LKMM-TD participants, namely the simulation The judge. Agricultural material is facilitated by Sukadi. Not only that, at night introduced an extra -campus organization that is still related to agriculture, namely FKK HIMAGRI and ISMPI.

After completing the introductory activity, followed by a campfire event, participants are required to find TD LKMM T -shirts, then continued with pensi.

On the second day, Sunday, October 21, 2018, an outbound activity was held to practice agility and cooperation between one another.

through the agrotechnology week activity is expected to occur active, productive and constructive interaction between academics in advancing agricultural education and research in Indonesia through sharing and finding alternative solutions in improving quality, relevance and the competitiveness of agrotechnology education and research as an effort to advance the Indonesian agriculture sector.

This activity is held every 2 years. This time the 2018 Agrotechnology Week is placed at Padjajaran University lasted for 4 days and attended by dozens of institutions in Indonesia. The form of activities in the 2018 Agrotechnology Week consists of Agrotechnology Days, Agrofest, Agro Competition and Agrotrip.

Agrotechnology Days is a national seminar activity in the field of agriculture with the theme & LDQO; HR development and technological innovation towards & nbsp; Industry 4.0 & RDQUO;. The purpose of this seminar is to produce quality and competent human resources in the field of agrotechnology. This seminar presents competent speakers in the fields of entrepreneurship, government, education and agricultural technology applications. At the Agrotechnology Days Seminar, the speaker was presented as follows:

agrofest or farmer party is a festival with the theme & ldquo; agrotechnology innovation and development of agricultural products in Indonesia & RDQO; Agrofest activities aim to show innovations in the field of agrotechnology to the people of Indonesia. This activity is packaged in the form of exhibitions of innovative products in the field of agriculture, such as bioenergy, food, technology, health, etc.

Agro-Complent is a race activity that combines theories and practices that are packaged in the form of quiz, case studies, object identification, and so forth. Agro-closer with the theme of mastery of agrotechnology science which includes the sub-fields of science in the agrotechnology study program such as planting plants, soil science and land resources, plant disease pests, and agricultural cultivation. This activity aims to apply the theory and also the practice that has been learned by agrotechnology students throughout Indonesia during the lecture.

Agro-Trip is the 2018 Agrotechnology Week Studytrip activity to increase student knowledge about how agricultural cultivation practices in the field. In addition, there are also a number of tourist attractions in Bandung to the delegation participants, this activity is at the same time closing the 2018 Agrotechnology Week event.

Agrotechnology Week activity takes place well. It’s just that there are deficiencies in its implementation, such as participants who are not consistent with the specified time, the results achieved are also unsatisfactory as in agro-competency activities.
