On Wednesday, December 19, 2018 UPY held an outstanding student election and UPY Ambassador at the University level. This event was held by the committee consisting of the ranks of institutions in this case being joined by the Student Affairs and Cooperation Institute (LKK) assisted by the UPY Student Executive Board (BEM KM) and Journalism UKM. The purpose of the holding of this activity is as a place for university level outstanding student election competitions as well as the Election of UPY Ambassadors. Participants who participated in this event were 26 students, all of which were the best representatives of each study program. Father. Sigit Handoko SH., MH as the Chairperson of the Committee in his remarks explained that this activity was an annual agenda that was considered the most prestigious by looking for superior seeds of student achievements at the university level. This activity is at the same time as one of the search for UPY potential cadres who will later become UPY Ambassadors.

According to his statement, this will accelerate the Chancellor and Institution program namely UPY towards exponential. The Chancellor and all of his staff fully support the Pilmapres and UPY ambassador activities, he said in a passionate tone. In his remarks, the Chancellor thanked all the committee for the success and implementation of the activity. The Chancellor hopes that this activity will truly produce UPY cadres who achievers who are ready to jointly build and make UPY’s name both at national and international levels. Besides that Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Biresyada, M. Pd as the coordinator of the activity when interviewed in his room explained that in the future this activity would continue to be developed as a place to select outstanding students who would later be prepared in regional and national level competitions. Iqbal as the Coordinator of the event thanked all the committee who had worked hard to succeed this activity. I wish Yulia Erin Dewardo won from PGSD Study Program. Hope II was won by Kharisma Safitri Nur Indah Sari from the Mathematics Education Study Program. While Harapan III was achieved by Dwi Puji Lestari from the History Education Study Program. Duta Putra Upy was won by Febri Ariadi from the Accounting Study Program. Champion I Putri was obtained by Sagita Setiyani from PGSD Study Program.
