Bambang Supriyadi, CES, DEA, on Thursday, February 14, 2019 submitted a copy of the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Menristekdikti SK) Number 1322/KPT/I/2018 concerning the Pharmacy Study Program for the Pharmacy Study Program at the Yogyakarta PGRI University organized by the Yogyakarta PGRI Pembina Foundation. Located in the Rectorate Building of Multimedia Room 3rd Floor PGRI Yogyakarta University Jl. IKIP PGRI I Sonosewu No.117, Sonosewu, Ngestiharjo, Kasihan, Bantul, Copies of the decree were received by Mr. Armansyah Prasakti, S.H., S.PN., M.H. as the Chairperson of the Yogyakarta PGRI Pembina Foundation Management and accompanied by Dr. Ir. Paiman M.P. as the Chancellor of the University of PGRI Yogyakarta.

In his remarks, the Head of LLDIKTI Region V Yogyakarta conveyed a number of important things in the submission of a new study program decree, one of which was related to the statement of ability because when submitting there would be responsibility from the leadership of the college for back to hand over the ability. So the statement of ability to carry out must be conveyed by the Chancellor to LLDIKTI as proof that after receiving a decree and must be implemented, as well as if the service institution knows the existence of a new study program or changes in the form of tertiary institutions, then it will be easily listed in BPPT.

dr. Ir. Bambang Supriyadi, Ces., Dea, of course reminded that for tertiary institutions that are already strong and have a lot of doctors to propose a S2 program more prioritized than the S1 program which has been too much and even in almost 400. Vocational School, if the university wants to add a study program, the diploma and master programs will get convenience from the government. So it is hoped that UPY can create and produce graduates who meet the needs of the world of work today.

on this occasion Dr. Ir. Bambang Supriyadi, CES, DEA, also conveyed the importance of the principle of evaluating the task of the lecturer. And the importance of discipline, honesty, objective and responsibility of the lecturer to encourage the achievement of the learning process goals in improving the quality of graduates. Lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the task of transforming, developing and disseminating science, technology and art through education, research and community service. The main task of the lecturer is to carry out the Tridharma of Higher Education with a workload at least commensurate with 12 credits and at most 16 credits in each semester according to academic qualifications. Therefore the implementation of the main tasks of this lecturer needs to be evaluated and reported periodically as a form of accountability of lecturer performance to stakeholders.

Meanwhile UPY Rector, Dr. Ir. Paiman M.P, hopes that all lecturers can continue to a higher level of education to improve the quality of lecturers. With the issuance of the opening permit of a new study program, namely Pharmacy, it is also expected to improve the quality of education, especially tertiary education in the Yogyakarta Regional Education Service Institute.
