Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the PGRI Yogyakarta University Auditorium, the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program Association held a Workshop with the theme & LDQUO; Ethnographic Creative Writing & RDQO; With the speaker Dr. Sigit Prawoto, M.Hum. The event was opened by Deputy Rector 3, Muhammad Fariuzabadi, M.Kom. Then the welcoming of the PBSI Head of Study Program, Primasari Wahyuni, M.Pd. And also present the Dean of FKIP UPY, Darsono, M.Pd, and attended by all PBSI UPY lecturers. The event was attended by UPY PBSI students, especially required for 6 semester students who were expected to become provisions for writing thesis or student research.

Sigit Prawoto, M.Hum explained how ethnographic techniques by observing the culture of society by involving themselves directly in the community within a certain time, and presenting how to write ethnographically. Ethnographic writing can be done with steps that include; First, what preparation we know about the culture being learned. & nbsp; Second, the introduction made a statement of willingness to be involved in our project to be a resource. Third, field notes/interview notes, transcriptions by recording visits we do at that place, record interviews with participation, and transfer the results of the interview. Fourth, create a journal/diary that contains internal monologues for what we think during the implementation of the project, such as thinking about what we see, which makes us confused, and what we have to make sure to be interviewed or who can ensure that we are on the street straight. The five drafts and revisions, the writing that needs to be conveyed and confirmed so as not to cause problems in the future.

Extraordinary Education Study Program (PLB) and Early Childhood Teacher Education (PG-PAUD) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education UPY for the first time holding 1st EFA 2019 National Seminar and Call for Papers (22/7) with headlines & LDQUO; Strengthening inclusive education in PAUD, Family and School & RDQUO services; at SLB N 1 Bantul. This activity took place successfully inseparable from the support of sponsor Yatu, PT. Bugaro Mitra Selaras, Movie Box, Naisu Bento and Qumicom.

Seminar was opened directly by the Rector of PGRI Yogyakarta University, Dr. Ir. Paiman, MP. In his remarks, UPY Chancellor said that the PLB and PG-PAUD study programs together with UPY prepared themselves to grow exponential (10 times) by continuing to encourage PLB and PG-PAUD study programs to develop all aspects such as scientific development, human resources and providing integrated lab representative for the development of scientific and output of the program for the sake of the vision of UPY APIK and superior.

Chairperson of the 2019 EFA 1st Committee, Yulian Agus Suminar, M.Pd explained, this activity was held as a collaboration of PLB and PG-PAUD study programs to provide academic space to all stakeholders and as media Promotion of PLB and PG-PAUD study programs that have entered the 2nd year. The seminar began with the presentation of three speakers representing academics and practitioners, namely: Prof. Dr. Suparno, M.Pd (Professor of UNY in the field of children with special needs), Dr. Sukadari S.E., S.H., M.M (UPY Lecturer) and Asmar, S.Psi., M.Sc., M.Psi., Psychologist (Practitioner of Clinical Psychology and Observer of Early Inclusive Education), which describes and discusses problems, challenges and the expectations of teachers, students and parents related to the handling of children with special needs and early childhood in the view of inclusive education.

This seminar is also a media for the results of the results of thoughts and research from various speakers who uploaded and became speakers in the proceedings carried out after the seminar was over. 1st EFA 2019 followed by 25 speakers from various professional backgrounds and various universities in Indonesia.1st EFA 2019 is expected to become an annual scientific dissemination activity, which is able to become a scientific meeting place for all stakeholders such as Higher Education Academics, Schools, Teachers, Parents, and students to be able to share knowledge and experience and provide space for innovation in children’s education with special needs and early childhood.

last Monday (5/8), 5 students from abroad who took part in the Upy 8th Batch Seateacher Program (Preserver Student Teacher Exchange Program in Southeast Asia) had arrived at the University of PGRI Yogyakarta. The five students are Mary Grace A.aladano, Princess Camille C.Asma, Benjamin Jose V.REY III from De Naga University University, Philippines. Then the other two came from Thailand, namely the juice of his departure and Walee Kaewjaima from Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Thailand.

The event was welcomed by the Rector of UPY and his staff as well as to conduct open ceremony and campus introduction in units 1 and unit 2. On that occasion the five students also visited the historical lab in Unit 1 . & LDQUO; I enjoyed and were very happy to be in Indonesia with its friendly and smiles. I am proud to be given the opportunity to be in UPY with his comfortable environment and hospitality. & Rdquo; said Benjamin, one of the students who took part in the Seateacher program from Ateneo de Naga University, Philippines. The plan is that the five students will take part in the Paracticum School and Teaching Programs each in elementary and Mutiara Persada Elementary School which will be held for one month until September 1, 2019.

Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) responds to the dynamics of society and the needs of the world of work. & ldquo; there are many proposals and input so that upy opens a new study program. The input was examined, considered, prepared everything which was then submitted to the Ministry of Research and Technology, a few years ago and went down the decree, & RDQUO; Dr. Ir. Paiman, M.P, Rector of Upy.

Paiman explained, from a number of people’s desires and stakeholders, upy submitted to Kemenristek Dikti, there were 8 new study programs that had dropped the decree. The eight new study programs are Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Agricultural Product Technology, Vocational Education Automotive Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Nutrition, Electromedical Engineering Engineering. Paiman mentioned, for the Decree of two new study programs namely Nutrition Science Study Program and Electromedical Engineering was handed over by Prof. Didi Achjari SE MCOM AK CA as Head of LLDIKTI Region V Yogyakarta on Friday (7/19).

From 8 new study programs are very prospective, graduates will be absorbed by the world of work. Paiman gave an example, Agricultural Product Technology Study Program (THP). The study program has been planned and underwent the process of submitting establishment since January 2019. This plan is based on the dream of making THP collaborating and synergizing with the Faculty of Agriculture UPY in developing agricultural products, especially local agricultural products.

& ldquo; THP study program graduates can also be entrepreneurs/entrepreneurs, Practitioners of Supervisor Production Section, Quality Control/QC, Quality Assurance, Researchers, both Staff, Supervisors, Research and Development Managers Food and Nonpan products, & RDQUO, said Paiman, who is also a former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture UPY. THP graduates can also become auditors, their duties to ensure and supervise materials, the production process of a food product, agricultural products that are safe for consumption.

PGRI University Yogyakarta & nbsp; Signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two universities, namely Rudn University and Tomsk State University (TSU) Russia. The signing of the MoU was carried out at the Indonesian Embassy Building Moscow, last Friday (2/8). The momentum was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. HM Budi Djatmiko MSi (Chair of Aptisi), Dr. Kasiyarno M.Hum (Chairperson of DIY APTISI), Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari MCom (Head of LLDIKTI Region V Yogyakarta).

The signing of the MoU was carried out by Prof. Vladimir Filippov (Rudn University) and Artyom Y Rykun (Tomsk State University) and Dr. Ir. Paiman M.P (UPY Rector). & LDQUO; Upy signed an MoU with 17 PT DIY, 27 PT DIY Indonesia, & RDQUO; Dr.Ir. Paiman, M.P, Sunday (4/8). Paiman explained, the MoU with 2 PT was carried out in an effort to collect cooperation to collaborate on education, seminars, joint research, publications, and further study of UPY lecturers. The 2 PTs were chosen because the campus was advanced and could be invited to the S2 and S3 and S3 study cooperation and the International Conference.

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 currently requires various parties to continue to increase the capacity of each of the universities. In Indonesia there are various types of universities with each specifications of its advantages. All higher education institutions in Indonesia have one main goal of building superior Indonesian human resources. Superior resources can only be produced from the best education process carried out by superior teachers. Teachers who have advantages can only be produced through the best teacher education process in superior teaching teaching institutions (LPTK). Superior LPTK is LPTK that is able to build networks and synergy between learning in schools and lecture processes in class. Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) as one of the Teaching Personnel Educational Institutions (LPTK) in Yogyakarta also participated to prepare the best teacher candidates in Indonesia. One of the efforts made is through the Lecturer Assignment Program in Schools (PDS). In 2019 UPY became one part of PTN and PTS throughout Indonesia that received a lecturer assignment program grant at school.

As the initial part of the implementation of this program UPY carries out the PDS program socialization activity which is attended by related agencies, partner schools from elementary, junior high, high school and vocational school levels. The purpose of this PDS socialization activity is to inform and equalize the perception between LPTK and partner schools about the implementation of this PDS program. In 2019 UPY was in scheme B, namely the implementation of PDS activities in schools and on campus. After the socialization activity was continued with a PDS lecturer workshop in schools with partner schools. The lecturers who meet the criteria for carrying out PDS activities at this school are Darsono, M.Pd, Tri Wahana, M.Pd, Rina Dyah Rahmawati, M.Pd, Deri Amggraini, M.Pd and Sisca Candraningsih, M.Sc. Schools involved in this PDS are SMA N 7 Yogyakarta, SMK N 1 Kasihan, SMP N 10 Yogyakarta, SD N Tamansari 2 Yogyakarta and SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun. Furthermore, lecturers who have held PDS in schools in 2018 this year will carry out PDS in campus to implement the experience gained through the PDS in the lecture process in the campus. The lecturers who carry out PDS activities on campus are Dr. Sunarti, M.Pd, Dra. Nurwahyumiani, M.A, Dra. Suharni, M.Pd, Dra. M.M Endang Susetyowati, M.Pd, Dra. Kristina Warniasih, M.Pd and & Nbsp; Dr. Setyo Eko Atmojo, M.Pd.

Vice Rector III UPY in the opening of the PDS program socialization conveyed the importance of a lecturer to know and have a real experience about the problem in learning activities at school and find solutions to overcome them, so that through this PDS activity will be able to increase the knowledge and insight of lecturers at FKIP UPY. In line with this statement the Chairperson of the UPY PDS Program hopes that the implementation of the PDS program can provide benefits both for PDS implementing lecturers and partner schools so that there is a better partnership cooperation.

The opening of the seminar was opened by Deputy Dean 3 of FKIP Student Affairs, Danuri, M.Pd. And followed by remarks by Primasari Wahyuni, M.Pd. As UPY PBSI Head of Study Program and was attended by all UPY PBSI lecturers. The event was not only attended by UPY students, but also opened to the public. While the speakers at the seminar were Dr. Susetyo, M.Pd. Lecturer from Bengkulu University, Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, S.S., M.Hum. dr. Susetyo, explained about learning innovations in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. Susetyo said & LDQUO; The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is marked by the development of the internet and digital technology as well as the ease of super computers and artificial intelligence. & Nbsp; The Development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 that occurred in the world today is very influential on the development of education, including education in Indonesia. For this reason, learning both in schools and tertiary institutions is required to change including changes in curriculum, teacher and lecturer competencies, learning models or methods, media and learning materials, as well as learning facilities, & rdquo; he said.

while Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, explained the role of IT -based learning media and electronic teaching materials in the digital age. There are 4 digital literacy targets in the millennial era, namely:

1. Digital Literacy Movement in the Family
2. Digital Literacy Movement in School
3. Digital Literacy Movement on Campus
4. Digital Literacy Movement in Society

& ldquo; we must have 5 characters preferred to produce Indonesian golden generation, namely nationalism, integrity, independence, mutual cooperation, religious, & rdquo; Rohmadi said.

Types of literacy are language litiration, numeration literacy, science literacy, digital literacy, financial literacy, and cultural literacy and citizenship. Industrial Revolution 4.0 is very influential in the scope of education, educators are expected to be active, innovative, competent, and can understand the characteristics of the Milineal generation. Do not be used by technology but use and master the era of technology at this time.

Friday (7/19), Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) received a Decree (SK) for the Opening Permit for 2 New Study Programs namely Nutrition Study Program and Electromedical Engineering Technology Study Program Higher Education at the Office of the Yogyakarta Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI). The decree was handed over by the Head of LLDIKTI Region V Yogyakarta, Prof. Didi Achjari SE MCOM AK CA to Armansyah SH MH (Chairperson of the UPY Pembina Foundation), then handed over to the Rector of UPY, Dr.Ir. Paiman M.P.

Previously UPY had also received a new study program decree from Kemenristekdikti, namely Biomedical Engineering, Vocational Education Automotive Engineering, Agricultural Product Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering. & LDQUO; UPY already has 8 new study programs and has received new students, & LDQUO; Paiman said. Paiman emphasized that the existence of 8 new study programs had the consequences of UPY to work hard to realize the new study program to find its existence in quality and quantity. & LDQUO; UPY’s new study program to meet the needs and demands of the times, of course new study program graduates will be absorbed in the world of work, & rdquo; he said.

Tuesday (07/23) Student Organization of Yogyakarta PGRI University (UPY) held a joint inauguration at the Auditorium of the University of PGRI Yogyakarta. Ormawa who followed the inauguration included HMP, BEM Faculty, & nbsp; & nbsp; UKM, BEM KM, and DPM KM. The event was opened by the Chancellor of the University of PGRI Yogyakarta Ir. Paiman., M.P at around 08.00 WIB and closed with a mandate delivered by the Vice Chancellor for Alumni, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, namely Muhammad Fairuzabadi, M.Kom. This event lasted about 2 hours, with the procession of taking an oath which was divided into 5 partitions namely HMP Oath Taking, then BEM Faculty, UKM, BEM KM, and for the last DPM KM.

Friday (7/19) students of the Yogyakarta PGRI University History Study Program held a local seminar with the theme “Tracing the Traces of Multicultural Life in Majapahit”. This local seminar became the final project worked on by all 2016 history education students as one of the assignments they took.

This local seminar took place at the Yogyakarta PGRI University Auditorium which was attended by Dr. Siswanta, m. PD as the Chairperson of the History Education Study Program, Dr. Muh Iqbaal Biresyada, M.Pd as a supervisor and lecturer and staff of the Yogyakarta PGRI History Education Study Program.

The seminar which was chaired by Irwan Riyadi carried the theme “Tracing the Footsteps of Multicultural Life in Majapahit”. Where this theme is the result of observations in the activities carried out by all 2016 class students in the History Field Lecture (KLS) conducted on the Trowulan website in April. The observations were then described in a local seminar which was divided into 4 parts, namely regarding the brief history of the Majapahit Kingdom by Fuad Muammad Hasan, a study of the lives of ancient people by Ardhin Dwi Setyawan, a study of sites that could be found in Trowulan by Sinta and studies Regarding the lives of today’s people around the Trowulan-Mojokerto area by Mita Adelia Rahmawati.

This seminar is expected to be a source of insight for all participants about the state of the Majapahit kingdom in the past, and its correlation with today’s society. In addition, this activity is also expected to be a media sharing of students’ knowledge after studying the material of the Majapahit kingdom from intra -campus sources, both library books and upy history museorium collections, as well as the results of the field study that had previously been implemented.
