Go Green is a social service activity to the environment with the preservation of nature of various kinds of obstacles caused by humans. This time Go Green took a location at Baros Beach, Kretek, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Coastal areas are areas that are very vulnerable to abrasion, therefore prevention as well as coastal areas. The action taken by all participants and the committee is to plant a mangrove tree which is a coastal crop preventing abrasion.
Go Green activities have been carried out on Wednesday, November 10, 2018. The committee responsible for this event is BEM FP which is a representative of the 3rd ISMPI Region to implement it. The organizations that work together are Sosmas DIY and the person in charge is UPY, USD, Unriyo and Aptik Organizations. So in general the Go Green implementing committee is Socmas DIY (UPY person in charge, USD, Unriyo), APTA, Region 3 (Responsible BEM-FP UPY).
This event was carried out quite well with the number of participants 150. Implementation time from 7 am to 3 pm.
