HMP Agrotechnology Faculty of Agriculture, PGRI University of Yogyakarta, participated in the 2018 National Agrotechnology Week at Padjajaran University on 3-6 November 2018.
through the agrotechnology week activity is expected to occur active, productive and constructive interaction between academics in advancing agricultural education and research in Indonesia through sharing and finding alternative solutions in improving quality, relevance and the competitiveness of agrotechnology education and research as an effort to advance the Indonesian agriculture sector.
This activity is held every 2 years. This time the 2018 Agrotechnology Week is placed at Padjajaran University lasted for 4 days and attended by dozens of institutions in Indonesia. The form of activities in the 2018 Agrotechnology Week consists of Agrotechnology Days, Agrofest, Agro Competition and Agrotrip.
Agrotechnology Days is a national seminar activity in the field of agriculture with the theme & LDQO; HR development and technological innovation towards & nbsp; Industry 4.0 & RDQUO;. The purpose of this seminar is to produce quality and competent human resources in the field of agrotechnology. This seminar presents competent speakers in the fields of entrepreneurship, government, education and agricultural technology applications. At the Agrotechnology Days Seminar, the speaker was presented as follows:
– Dr.Ir. Momon Rusmono, MS as Head of the Agricultural Human Resources and Development Agency
– Ivan Arie as Founder of Farmers Hub
-Regi Wahyu as Founder of Ci-Agriculture
agrofest or farmer party is a festival with the theme & ldquo; agrotechnology innovation and development of agricultural products in Indonesia & RDQO; Agrofest activities aim to show innovations in the field of agrotechnology to the people of Indonesia. This activity is packaged in the form of exhibitions of innovative products in the field of agriculture, such as bioenergy, food, technology, health, etc.

Agro-Complent is a race activity that combines theories and practices that are packaged in the form of quiz, case studies, object identification, and so forth. Agro-closer with the theme of mastery of agrotechnology science which includes the sub-fields of science in the agrotechnology study program such as planting plants, soil science and land resources, plant disease pests, and agricultural cultivation. This activity aims to apply the theory and also the practice that has been learned by agrotechnology students throughout Indonesia during the lecture.
Agro-Trip is the 2018 Agrotechnology Week Studytrip activity to increase student knowledge about how agricultural cultivation practices in the field. In addition, there are also a number of tourist attractions in Bandung to the delegation participants, this activity is at the same time closing the 2018 Agrotechnology Week event.
Agrotechnology Week activity takes place well. It’s just that there are deficiencies in its implementation, such as participants who are not consistent with the specified time, the results achieved are also unsatisfactory as in agro-competency activities.
