Yogyakarta & ndash; The Yogyakarta Region V Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) held a Coordination Meeting of Leadership (Rakorpim) in the Field III and the 2019 Region V Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) on October 9, 2019 at the Main Court Room of the LLDIKTI Office V Yogyakarta. Coordination Meeting of Field III and LLDIKTI Region V is an activity that is routinely held every year. As for this year the Rakorpim Field III and LLDIKTI Region V is the second activity in 2019 after the same activity was carried out on March 29, 2019. Participants in the Coordination Meeting of Higher Education Leaders in the Field III and LLDIKTI Region V are all leaders of Higher Education in the field of student affairs in the environment LLDIKTI Region V Yogyakarta, both state and private universities. The resource person in the Field III Coordination Meeting this time was Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.com., Ak., Head of the Yogyakarta Region V Higher Education Service Institute., Dr. Misbah Fikrianto, M.M., M.Sc., Head of the Sub Directorate of Reasoning and Creativity, Directorate of Student Affairs, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, and Drs. Beny Suharsono, M.Sc, Paniradya Pati Special Region Special Region Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta Special Region Province.
Field III Coordination Meeting was opened at 08.00 WIB by the Head of Academic, Student Affairs and Resources of Tunggul Priyono, S.H., M.Hum together with Dr. Misbah Fikrianto, M.M., M.Sc. In the first session Dr. Misbah Fikrianto, M.M., M.Sc. Delivering exposure relating to programs and activities organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs Kemristekdikti. He also said how important students are participating in activities that are coculikular and extracurricular activities. This is very influential on the ranking of Higher Education which one of the elements of the assessment is student activities. To measure the value of student activities, Kemristekdikti has launched a student ranking system (Simkatmawa) which contains reports from each tertiary institution about student activities that are followed by students at the tertiary institution. Misbah also conveyed how important funding support from universities for student activities, because the average funding support from universities for student activities is still below 10% of the total university funds. So Misbah suggested that if you want to advance student activities, so the funds provided should be more than 10% of the total college budget.
While on the second occasion, Prof. Didi conveyed a message from Menristekdikti to all leaders of student affairs related to several important things, among others, students were not prohibited from conveying aspirations, but in a polite manner, obeying regulations, and not damaging public facilities. The leadership of student affairs is also encouraged to accommodate the aspirations of students by inviting discussions, and appeal to students to convey aspirations not arrogant and not violate the laws of law.
In the third occasion, Drs. Beny Suharsono, M.Sc. Take a presentation on Yogyakarta’s cultural values. He conveyed about the Javanese cultural values that have the characteristics of the spirit of actualization, in the form of the mobilization of all resources ( Golong Gilig ), integrated ( Sawiji ), in the persistence and dynamic hard work ( grelet ), accompanied by self -confidence in acting ( biddling ), not eliminating in dealing with any risks ( mingkuh ). Beny also conveyed the Trilogy of Yogyakarta’s privilege, namely Hamemayu Hayuning Bawana, Sengkan Paraning Dumadi, and Manunggaling Kawula Gusti.
Beny also invited the leadership of tertiary institutions to participate in accessing the privilege of Yogyakarta’s features that have been provided, because so far there has been no tertiary institution accessing these funds. To distinguish Yogya college graduates with other regions, he also appealed to students to mingle with the surrounding community, so that for universities who have student dormitories, to be used for students first and the second year, then for the third year and so on to stay outside Dormitory mingles with the community so that it can absorb local cultures from the surrounding community and so that the economic turnover of the community also increases.
The Field III Coordination Meeting was officially closed at 15.00 WIB. But after the event was closed there were still events from the Jogja Student Association 35 (PKJ 35) led by Dr. Fadlil from Ahmad Dahlan University. On this occasion discussed the agenda of PKJ 35 activities which were collaboration from all universities in Yogyakarta in the hope of raising student activities in each tertiary institution. Also present on this occasion AKBP Sinungwati S.H., M.I.P., Head of the Sub Directorate of Development of Counseling in Ditbinmas DIY Polda, who expressed his gratitude for the orderly and peaceful implementation of the aspirations of students in Gejayan called in 2019. He said that the order of Yogyakarta students was the fruit of the education given by each university. Sinungwati also expressed his gratitude for the collaboration of Higher Education in the implementation of the Indonesian Cultural Festival which had been successfully held at the March 1 Oemoem attack Museum on October 2, 2019 ago. He hopes that this collaboration will continue at the future.
