Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, PGRI Yogyakarta University on Thursday (19/9), held UPY Pharmacy Socialization and Pharmaceutical Science Study with the theme & LDQUO; Millennial Pharmacists in the 4.0 & RDQO era ; The event was held in the Multimedia Room Building A Unit 1 UPY and was also attended by UPY Rector, Dr. Ir Paiman MP. This event is part of the promotion of UPY Pharmacy Study Program in the Admission of Special Line Students until the acceptance of September 2019. As for the participants themselves, it was attended by 50 people, namely SMA/SMK alumni equivalent and Assistant Pharmacists in Yogyakarta. This event was preceded by a pharmaceutical study starting from the understanding of pharmacy to the role of pharmacy in the 4.0 era.

Various new breakthroughs that are not only in the field of digital (artificial intelligence), but also in the fields of physics (the discovery of new materials), biology (bio-engineering), internet of things and other technologies. There are many roles of machine technology that have begun to replace the role of humans. & ldquo; then where is the role of pharmacy? The role of pharmacy is a direct pharmaceutical service that cannot be replaced by a machine, one of the roles is the entrepreneur. & Rdquo; explained Rahmat. Millennial Pharmacists in the 4.0 era not only work behind the scenes, but are required to apply the Patient Oriented paradigm by strengthening SoftSkill Self -Development Competencies.
UPY Chancellor in his remarks revealed & ldquo; of course pharmacy itself is a business that will never die because it is related to health. And UPY Pharmacy itself is different from other pharmacies because UPY pharmacy is more concentrated in herbal plants. & RDQUO, said Paiman.
