National Discussion: Optimization of Research for Lecturer Capacity Building

In the field of research and community service, PGRI University Yogyakarta considering that it is currently still in the fostered and dedication cluster in a satisfying cluster. So that it still needs hard work to conduct research and community service and produce scientific work through an reputable international journal, patent rights, etc., which is expected to be able to increase UPY cluster. Based on this, in accordance with the work program of LPPM University of PGRI Yogyakarta, on Friday (8/23) a national discussion activity was held with the theme & LDQUO; Optimizing Research for Lecturer & RDQO capacity building; The activity was held at the UPY Auditorium which was attended by all lecturers at UPY. Then also attended by Dr.Ir.Paiman, M.P (Rector of UPY) and also UPY Vice Chancellor.

In the national discussion LPPM UPY invited Prof. Ocky Karna Radjasa, M.Sc, Ph.D (Director of Research and Community Service Director General of Research and Development of Community Development and Development of Kemenristekdikti) and Dr.Biol.Hom.Nastiti Wijayanti, S.Si, M.Si. (National Reviewer from UGM) as source person. & LDQUO; The purpose of this national discussion activity is of course to increase the capacity of the lecturer’s capabilities as well as motivating lecturers in the UPY environment to conduct research and community service properly. & RDQUO; Dra said. Rosalia Indriyati Saptatiningsih, M.Sc (Head of UPY LPPM).

Prof. Ocky revealed & ldquo; if Uky wants to advance in essence, he must apply national standards in the field of research appropriately, & rdquo; he said. The results of research must have three functions, the first: Developing Science and Technology, Second: Welfare of the community, then the third is to increase the competitiveness of the nation, & LDQUO; he continued.

explained Rosalia Indriyati (Head of LPPM UPY) & LDQUO; that in 2018 the proposal to Ristekdikti 2019 Funding Year sent 31 proposals to pass 100%, Basic Research 1 Proposal did not qualify, and research Applied 1 Proposal passed. And in 2019 Year of Funding 2020 Research Proposal which was just closed last August 20, UPY sent & nbsp; PKPT 2, PDP 15, Basic Research 1, and Applied Research 3, in terms of the number down but in terms of the number of funds submitted has increased, hopefully it can pass all >
