National Symposium and Lively PBSI Students in Indonesia

Surakarta, October 30 to November 3, 2019 are memorable and historic days for all PBSI students throughout Indonesia because of the re-holding of the National Symposium and IMABSII 2019. For 5 days it was held at the Surakarta IAIN campus as the host and was followed by all delegates of PBSI Student Association throughout Indonesia with details of 34 universities and 90 student delegates including 3 students from HMP PBSI University of PGRI Yogyakarta. Imabsii Semarak activities are routine activities every 2 years aimed at fostering unity, harmony, and work of Indonesian Language and Literature students in Indonesia. In this year’s lively activities this year carries the theme & LDQUO; Revitalization of Indonesian Language and Literature Values ​​in the Society 5.0 & RDQUO era;.

The event began with a meeting and friendly between delegates and interspersed with hadroh entertainment and dance performances from the Surakarta IAIN campus. On the second day all participants attended the National Seminar with the speaker Prof. Dr. Dadang Sunendar, M.Hum (Head of the Language Development and Development Agency), Sociawan Leak (a writer from Solo), Prof. Dr. Suwardi Endaswara, M.Hum (Chairperson of the Indonesian Bachelor Association) at Graha IAIN Surakarta and continued with the Imabsii Military Command and Literature Discussion at the inn. The next day the activity was filled with Indonesian Language and Literature Love Orasi and Teaching at SMP N 2 Karangpandan & Ndash; Karanganyar. On the 3rd day the participants were introduced to cultural tourism in the Solo area, namely the Surakarta Palace, the Press Monument, and the Bung Harto House of the 2nd President of the Republic of Indonesia.

HMP PBSI UPY at the event was the first time participating in the national level of PBSI Student Association and officially joined IMABSII in 2019. HMP PBSI was represented by Imam Wahyu Aji (Chair of HMP), Veri Kurnia Sari (Deputy Chairperson of HMP), and Danang Pranawa (HMP Social Division) appointed by the Study Program Lecturer. & LDQUO; We hope this is the first step of PBSI HMP to be able to continue to learn and expand the domain and relationships to improve human resources and organizational quality according to the vision-mission this year & RDQO; The activity ended with the performance of the art creativity of each set and the night of the 15 -year IMABSII.
