In commemoration of poetry day in March and Kartini Day in April, the Student Association of Study Programs (HMP) of Indonesian Language and Literature Education at Yogyakarta PGRI University held a series 1 (Game 1 PBSI Student Existence), Poetry Musical Competition and Poetry Surgery as well as the top event. This activity begins with (the brilliant existence of the 1st PBSI Student) which must be followed by all management of the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program Student Association (HMP) at Yogyakarta PGRI University by displaying a work & LDQUO; reading of poetry & rdquo; by each division.

the work can be seen through the link & nbsp; the 2nd activity is the musical competition of poetry. This competition is intended by high school/ma/vocational high school students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. In this competition competing for the Yogyakarta Special Region Governor Cup and Bantul Regent. This activity is a routine activity held by the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program Student Association (HMP) at Yogyakarta PGRI University every year. Usually this race is held directly, because the Pandemi Covid 19 situation requires this activity virtually. There are no obstacles to stop working. This year the first winner was won by SMA N 1 Bambanglipuro, second place was won by MAN 2 Bantul, third place was won by MAN 3 Bantul, and the favorite champion was obtained by SMA N 1 Bambanglipuro. This series of activities was closed with poetry surgery and top events. In this poetry surgery activity was carried out virtually, with the speaker Mr. Shohifur Riho & RSQUO; I Sastrawan. This poetry surgery is attended by the students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Yogyakarta PGRI University, especially in the class of 2019 and 2020 to be more familiar with poetry.

The top event was held on April 21, 2021 which coincided with commemorating Kartini Day. The event was attended by the Trustees of the Student Association of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (HMP PBSI) of Yogyakarta PGRI University, Ms. Nina Widyaningsih, M.Hum., Was also attended by Deputy Rector III for Student Affairs, Mr. M.Fairuzzabadi, M.Kom., In addition there was also a speech from the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta and the Regent of Bantul read by Brother Sigit Priyanto and Nurul Aisyiari.

After this activity it is expected that the next generation of the nation can channel their talents in the appropriate and more active and creative field to create a new work. The holding of poetry surgery can increase the knowledge and understanding of participants about dissected poetry & ldquo; Poetry of Motherland Karya & RDQUO; Hopefully this activity can be useful and motivate for all participants to continue to work and develop and provide more knowledge.
