Signing of the MoU of Yogyakarta PGRI University with Ist Akprind Yogyakarta

On Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the PGRI Yogyakarta (UPY) Rector’s Chancellor Room, the two universities in Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta PGRI University with AKPRIND SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTUM (IST AKPRIND) (MoU). The MoU was signed by UPY Rector Dr. Ir. Paiman, M.P. and Ist Rector AKPRIND Dr. Edhy Sutanta S.T., M.Kom. Also attending the signing ceremony was the leadership of Ist Akprind including & Nbsp; Catur Iswahyudi, S.Kom., S.E., M.CS., MTA (Vice Rector 2), Prof. Dr. Ir. Sudarsono, M.T. (Head of LPPM), Ir. Purnawan, S.T., M.Eng., CWS., IPM (Head of LPK2), Andhika Prasetya, S. Sos. (Head of BPHK), Prita Haryani S.Pd. M.Eng (Chair of the Informatics Study Program), Ir Gatot Santoso MT (Chair of the Electrical Engineering Study Program), Maria Regina Nansi S.Si, MBA (Head of Digital Business Study Program) and Panggih Sumaryanto, S.E., M.Sc. (Head of Cooperation Administration). While from UPY including & nbsp; Armansyah Prasakti SH., SPN MH. (Chairman of the YP Trustees), Drs. Johannes Sabari, M.Sc. (YP Chairperson), Dr. Ir. Paiman, M.P (Chancellor), Ahmad Riyadi, S.Si, M.Kom (Vice Rector I), Dr. Septian Aji Permana, S.Pd., M.Pd (Deputy Rector III), Dr. Victor Novianto.M M. Hum (KUI), Pebri Periatmoko M.Eng (KUI), Wibawa, M. Kom (Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology) and Herdi Handoko M. Pd (Rector Secretary).

In the activity UPY and Ist Akprind also discussed the cooperation that will be realized in the future. The two universities support each other to realize superior international classes. UPY offers a series of activities that enrich the experience of students in ITEA (International Training and Education Alliance). The activities in ITEA are especially apprenticeship and global classes. The activity program provides opportunities for students to broaden insight and improve their competencies. Internships in international-class companies will provide practical experience and deep understanding of the world of global work. Meanwhile, the global class opens the door for students to learn from international lecturers who are experts in their fields, enrich their perspectives and knowledge.

In addition, UPY and Ist Akprind will collaborate in the Competency Test together with LSP related to the Study Program, especially in the field of Information Technology (IT). This step aims to ensure that students have skills that are in accordance with international standards and are ready to compete in the global job market.

Not only that, the study program cooperates in scientific writing and research & Electromedis and digital business bring significant benefits in terms of research and development. Students and lecturers from both programs work together to produce innovative and relevant scientific research with technological developments. This not only increases the reputation of the two universities, but also makes a valuable contribution to the progress in the field of electromedical and digital business.

One important aspect of this collaboration is mutual support in the development of Human Resources (HR). UPY and Mitra College are committed to mutual support in building quality human resources, especially through employee and training development programs. By combining the resources and expertise of both tertiary institutions, students and educators will have access to broader and more diverse development opportunities.
