Saturday 29 September 2018, PGRI University Yogyakarta (UPY) held a graduation ceremony for graduate and postgraduate graduation for the 2018/2019 school year at the local campus. The UPY graduation activity was attended by 6 graduates of the Master of Education Program (S2) and 416 graduates of the Strata One (S1) program.

According to the Rector of Paiman, graduation contains the meaning of the inherent responsibility with the academic degree achieved as a recognition of the scientific field. “Graduation is the beginning of the start of the real life. Graduation is not the end of learning, but is the initial process of direct learning to enter the community. The world continues to change fast, so do not be complacent, miss learning, change changes, and do not lose the opportunity,” he added. P>
“Our hopes and prayers, hopefully with the provision of success in achieving this academic degree will be a very valuable capital to achieve the next success in devoting themselves to the community, nation and state,” he added.
Rector Paiman also gave advice that it is necessary to know that the level of success is directly proportional to how much effort you do. “There is no free success, but requires struggle and sacrifice. The success that you achieve will be the pride of the family or alma mater,” he explained.
To accelerate the teaching and learning process, as well as integrating strategic steps to bring the good name of the alma mater, the Chancellor of Paiman hopes that graduates/graduates can join the UPY alumni family (KAUPY). ” and can participate together to participate in contributing to raising UPY. Informed, Graduates/Graduates of the S1 Program which won the highest achievement, namely Anggi Meyila Saraswati, SPd from the Mathematics Education Study Program with a achievement index of 3.92. The fastest graduate is Deny Hadi Siswanto Mathematics Education Study Program, 3.9 Years Study Length.
For the youngest graduate is Dessy Widiawati, SPd from the PGSD study program, who was born in Purworejo, 11 December 1997 aged 20 years. The oldest graduates are Table Yei Astuti, SPd Guidance and Counseling Study Program, born in Karangmojo, 29 November 1970 aged 47 years.
Meanwhile, graduates/graduates of the S2 program that won the highest and fastest achievements were Elisabeth Susi Setiarini, MPd with an achievement index of 3.98. The youngest graduate is Alfian Martoni, MPd was born in Selong, March 3, 1986 aged 32 years. The oldest graduate was Teguh Suwarto, MPd was born in Klaten, 28 October 1967 aged 50 years. ( JAT )
