UPY’s extended family starts the first working day with Syawalan

Rector of UPY and the ranks of the university leadership held a Syawalan event with Educators and also UPY employees, Wednesday (12/6) at the UPY Auditorium. This event is a tradition that is carried out every year in order to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, which is marked by mutual intercourse and expressions of mutual forgiveness.

The Syawalan this time began with a speech from the Rector of UPY, Dr. Ir. Paiman, M.P. Then remarks from the Chairperson of the Yogyakarta PGRI University Pembina Foundation, Armansyah Prasakti, S.H., S.PN., M.H. And then filled with tausyah and prayer by Mr. Ustadz Muhammad Burhanudin from Jetis, Bantul. Then proceed with the halal bi halal pledge, after that at the end of the event continued with shaking hands.

The Chancellor said, this event was a moment of friendship of UPY’s extended family. On this occasion, he also said sorry for all the words or behavior that was less pleasing to the work relations in the UPY environment.

& ldquo; we on behalf of the leadership of the university on this happy occasion say sorry if in association or work there is a speech that offends, actions that are less pleasing both intentional or unintentional , & RDQUO; said Paiman.

he also gives a thank you to the entire UPY academic community for the cooperation that has been compact and in a family atmosphere. He hopes that this kind of tradition will be an opportunity to forgive one another and return to Fitrah.

is expected by entering the first working day after a long holiday, all academics to return to work with new enthusiasm, with a positive atmosphere and a sense of kinship to produce better works.
