In Law Number 12 of 2012 Chapter III concerning Quality Assurance, it is stated that the management of the Quality Assurance System (SPMI) includes setting standards, implementation of standards, standard evaluations, standard controls, and increasing standards . Five stages in SPMI management are known as the PPEPP cycle. Further refers to Permenristekdikti Number 62 of 2016 Article 5, it is stated that the evaluation as referred to in the PPEPP cycle is carried out through an Internal Quality Audit (AMI).
In the implementation of AMI, tertiary institutions are advised to establish AMI policies before the AMI program is implemented. This policy contains the following aspects; Objectives, Objectives, Scope/Objects or Fields or activities of being audited, the area or work unit to be audited, auditors, audit methods, audit instruments, audit time and schedule, audit frequency, and reporting & amp; follow -up audit results. AMI is a systematic, independent, and documented testing process to ensure the implementation of activities in tertiary institutions to achieve institutional goals.
on 12 & ndash; April 14, 2019, Kemenristekdikti invited several delegates from private universities in the Java and Madura regions to take part in workshops and internal quality audit training. One of the names listed in the invitation was that one of them from Yogyakarta PGRI University was the Head of the Academic Division of the Quality Assurance Agency, Nafisah Etalati, M.Hum. and the Head of the Non-Academic Division, Arum Setiowati, M.P.D. Both delegates attended the workshop at Aston Inn Hotel, Pandanaran, Semarang, Central Java. The supervisor who accompanied the activity was Prof. Nyoman Sadra Dharmawan, Dr. Alberta Rika, Prof. Hartanto Nugroho, and Dr. Elvi Rumiyanto. All supervisors accompany training ranging from the theory explanation to document audit training and field audits to Teraudit, namely several study programs located at Dian Nuswantoro University in Semarang. The AMI implementation process is carried out in several stages, namely conducting auditor team meetings, conducting document audits, setting site visit schedules, conducting field audits, and making audit reports.
The results achieved from the workshop activities Increased the knowledge of participants about the process of evaluating the quality assurance system, namely the Internal Quality Audit. Internal quality audit needs encourage university managers to truly implement quality dioses as well as possible.
